No sand no beach no resort. Hillbilly Heaven! Day 2, someone parked their camper literally 5 feet from our “cabin” with PLENTY of room to park normally. Their “shop” is way overpriced and is cash only. Guess an ice purchase is $20. Dog poo and trash all over the grounds. Our “schoolhouse cabin” was absolutely filthy. Dead and live bugs (flys mosquitos ants spiders etc) were all throughout. The nightly cost for what you get is not justified. One tv from the 70s that doesnt work. No trash bags anywhere. Cabin does come with multiple fly swatters! The conditions on naked and afraid are probably better. Duct taped windows, one light, one fan, no AC. Not to mention, to get there you have to drive through a backwoods entrance past run down cars and an old creepy abandoned schoolbus next to a hen house where the rooster who wakes you up every morning at sunrise lives and through an open barbed wire fence gate. Stay here at your own risk. The fishing is...

We can bring a grill to grill fresh fish, hotdogs etc. 4 or 5 hours maybe even more relaxes the kids and us too.and a store is there for refreshments from alcohol, cigarettes, candy, sodas, and back in the day they rented us inner tubes, and other things. you can dock your boat, bring your favorite floaties and even jet ski. its a refreshing place with bathroom and lots of...
Read moreThis guy charges $2.15 for a 8oz bottle of hy-vee brand water. Then told me they all come off the pop truck so he has to charge the same price as pop. Then charges the next guy $12 for a 12 pack of pop. That is crazy! I don't think hy-vee brand water is delivered to other stores via the pop truck. Next time I'm in the area I will be sure to bring every thing, so I don't have to...
