The motel is in excellent condition. Very few people stay here and there is hardly any wear and tear anywhere. The carpet is fading, that’s the worst I saw. The rooms have two beds, a table and two chairs, chest of drawers, large window, excellent heating and air cond unit, small refrigerator, and a nice TV with 50 or 100 channels. They provide a tiny bar of soap but bring your own shampoo||||Judging by the interior decoration, this motel was built about the late 1980s to 1990. The fashion at that time was Dusty Rose and Wedgewood Blue; in vogue were shiny brass light fixtures.||||The motel has 16 rooms and no full time employee in the office. There are quiet rooms in the back.||||For breakfast you can get coffee and convenience goodies at the gas station and market next door. They also sell packaged sandwiches. Marv’s Drive-in is close by for lunch or dinner, but closed Sundays. My group had hamburgers, fries, and milk shakes, for dinner with no complaints. On the healthy side is a very tasty taco salad in a fried tortilla bowl.||||I was in this area with the Desert Explorers club. We spent a day and a half at the Mountain Meadows site driving all the routes of the settlers, immigrants, wagon trains, Old Spanish Trail, visiting the monuments, strewn rocks in the fields, etc. We had expert historian Leo Lyman with us on a CB radio talking non-stop explaining everything about the history and events...

I called the first number. Although it was near 11pm, a normal, friendly woman picked up on the second ring and drove down in under ten minutes to meet me and let me into the room.||||The room was much better than I expected. Completely quiet. A firm mattress, a nice soft bulb alternative to the overhead florescent, a microwave and tv, and a very clean atmosphere --not overly sterilized or reeking of cleaning products, either: just good old fashion clean.||||Perfect place to crash for the night. Would absolutely recommend...
Read moreStayed there some times, for one or two nights, while travelling to my property near Beryl. Generally there is no manager onsite. But you call any of the numbers on the list in the office window and someone is there in a few minutes. Rooms are spacious, always warm, clean. Inexpensive. They have Wifi that sometimes is difficult to access - but it is the boondocks. Gas station with snack shop is right there and restaurants are close. Hardware and market are just down the street. All of the managers always courteous...
