Beautiful campsite. We tent camped at site 36 - and it was great! We were able to reserve the spot online months in advance which was nice. It was a spacious site and we only had one other camp site next to us and there was lots of space and privacy between us and the other sides were forest and river. The nearest restroom to site 36 is a vault toilet (which was very clean and filled with air fresheners!) but the nicer restrooms with flush toilets and warm running water is just a short walk away. I was surprised we could hear some traffic from our site with being so close to the river but it wasn’t that bad. The park hosts were very friendly and helpful - always driving around with firewood for sale and keeping the bathrooms clean and stocked. As we drove through the campground I did feel that the other sites that weren’t on the river were very small and close together with little privacy - the ones along the river are definitely the ones to try and grab! The river was beautiful and the feeling of being nestled in the mountains and trees was very relaxing. We would definitely recommend this campground.

Absolutely beautiful campground. Feel asleep and woke to the sound of running water, it was so peaceful. Easy to find, there are signs that clearly mark the entrance from highway 410. The road through the campground as well as the parking spaces are all paved. If you don't want to spend the night there are several day-use parking spots that are just $5. Creeks/footbridges throughout the campground, big grassy areas and the river is less than a 10 minute walk from all campsites. Never saw anyone else hike out to the river when I was there but I highly recommend it. It's beautiful and pretty easy to get to. You won't regret visiting here! Be sure to make reservations to get a great spot.

Man, i would love to give this campground 5☆'s, but the lack of running spigots, and working bathrooms on the lower loop makes this a low tier 4 star. The sites are nice and well maintained, some of them are pretty spacious with lots of privacy. There are several sites on the upper loop that have a small creek running next to them. As well as others that have the White River within sight. Lovey place if you like the white noise of running/ rushing water. Most sites only have enough room for one vehicle, Be aware! The new camp hosts were very nice, there was plenty of fire wood available to purchase for 10$ a bundle.

Just a heads up ... flush bathrooms were hit and miss ... I've also been informed that it's the same issues as last year ... If you wanted a flush toilet you might have to walk to the other end of the campground since the one near your campsite might not be functional ... same for running water in the bathrooms and electricity ... While we were there the bathrooms needed cleaning and needed toilet paper ( The 'Host Not Available' sign was up the three days we were there ) ... However Potable water was plentiful and available ( tho not very well marked ) ... Signage would have been very beneficial to where alternative bathrooms and water was to be obtained instead it was basically word of mouth ... one could easily tell the new campers by the puzzled looks and thus offer assistance as to where alternative were...

Stopped by on a whim, while driving to a hiking spot. Sami and Harley met us at the entrance! I'm telling you, these two made our day!! Sami(the camp host) was beyond wonderful. She helped with directions, gave us ideas for other local hikes and even gave us maps and color books for the kids! We weren't even camping there! She was so sweet! Now Harley(the boxer) instantly became the love of my life. He was so excited to meet us and wiggled like crazy! Doggy kisses and loves are his forte! He met our Harley( small black dog) and was happy to make a friend! This meeting was wonderful and made us want to camp there! I wish I would have got a picture for our hiking photo album, but it's people like this that make me love it here! We Will definitely plan a camping trip to this campground! (Which was...
