Absolutely the most rude lady I've ever encountered. Let me tell you the story because we were run off the property. I was traveling to Tellico Plains on Sept. 20 and had researched for weeks on places to stay. Smitty's had great reviews so we planned on staying there. I also checked availability daily for a week to make sure they had a room. Well, we pulled up to the front office on the morning of Sept. 20 and no one was in the office. The sign said to text a number if they were not there, so we did. While I was waiting I had to use the restroom. When I got back to the front, the lady came out and asked, "What we are doing here?" We said we were wanting to rent a cabin for the night. She said, "Where are your motorcycles?" We clearly didn't have any as we were in a small SUV. Then she asked me, "What were you doing?". I told her that I had to use the restroom. She said, "Restrooms are only for the patrons!" So I kindly replied that I understand that and we were planning on renting a cabin for that evening. She said, "No you are not! This is ONLY for motorcyclists!" I apologized to her and told her we did not realize that but wanted to stay anyway. She then said, "No you are not. You can get back in that car, back it up, and get on out of here!" So...........at that time there were 4 cabins that had people in them and 1 had a car. Hmmm. No where on any signs on the website or on the property did it say you cannot stay there if you don't have a motorcycle. There are also previous reviews on their website that had folks with cars staying there (2 with proof from pictures of their cars net to the cabins). Then to be talked to so rudely and literally be told to leave the property and refusal of service was just unprofessional. I was in absolute shock on how we were treated and talked to. Never in my life have I experienced that kind of treatment and can't imagine how a service industry business would allow that from their employees or owners. I was excited to stay at this location because of all of the positive reviews. I don't think I've ever left a bad review in my life, but this experience had...

Reading the reviews of this place is misleading! Yes, the place is perfectly located close to the Parkways, Skyways and Deals Gap. It's close to town where you will find a couple restaurants and a CVS. There is also a NAPA in case you need parts! The previous owners must have kept the campground in amazing condition to have great reviews. But, the dates on the reviews must be looked at closely! About the campground though, the "cabin" is nothing more than a wooden shed with a bed and a/c with a lean-to attached for covered bike parking. There is no water or toilets. If the restroom in needed in the middle of the night, you will have to walk a gravel, dimly lit, downhill pathway. The shower house needs some work. Its outdated and the "provided" soap and shampoo are merely items that were left by previous visitors. The community coffee station, grill, firewood,...just about everything had a donation box attached to it! For the amount that 1 person payed for 2 days, I was hoping for a hot cup of coffee in the morning without having to dig for change! I checked in Friday night, to which I was given the tour of the place. Which I probably would have chosen a different place had I been given the tour before paying! Friday night was fine, quiet and relaxing. Saturday night was interrupted by loud, disrespectful late arrivals. Knowing that my early checkout (1:30AM) would provide a little satisfaction, I let it go. I will not...

One word: Amazing! I seriously can't say enough nice things about this place. I stayed two nights with two friends in the three person cabin. It had a double bed and a set of bunk beds. The room was spotless including some of the cleanest sheets I've ever had anywhere I've ever stayed. It also had boot and glove dryers (three of them...for the three person room. Genius!), a microwave and a fridge and it was air conditioned. The cover on the side fit our two sport bikes and a dual sport perfectly. The bathrooms were also super clean! I mean, spotless. No weird smells, fully stocked ,private showers with changing areas and all. Although we didn't use it they had a propane grill available (with a nearly full tank) in the covered picnic area. They even had a couple of work-tables area with a vice and a BIKE STAND! The first night we were there the owners came around to say hi (we checked in after hours) and make sure everything was ok. I seriously can't come up with anything to complain about. I would highly recommend this place to anybody but if you're out there riding The Tail of the Dragon or Charohala this is the...

Awesome Place!  These folks have literally thought of EVERYTHING a motorcycle enthusiasts needs.  From the well stocked vending machine,  microwave and coffee / tea  access 24/7 with all the fixings. You will survive, even if they roll the sidewalks up on ya in town. The location is excellent for all the cool loops, the Skyway and the Tail. These folks work hard to provide super clean facilities and the water was ALWAYS HOT!  Don't have soap, not a problem.   It's there 🙂 They also stock hand cleaner, have a motorcycle jack and Vise available. Laundry facilities are clean and modern.  They even have a machine to dry your leather in case Mother Nature is unkind. All the cabins have super cool boot and glove dryers built-in as well.  Beds are super comfy and the towels soft! Gas grill if you don't want to cook over the Awesome fire pits.  Firewood and Ice ~ I mean it!  They got you covered! And don't worry about condiments. They are in the fridge. Don't let the website detour ya over a 2 night minimum, they are VERY accommodating! Do yourself a favor and give them a call and book your adventure 😁

Campground that caters to all motorcyclist from all areas. Beautiful campground in a perfect area. Owners were very nice and friendly, coming out and hanging out around the fire at night time with us. Cabins are a great price and allot more roomy then they look on the outside. They feature a nice covered place to park your bike. The bath house had plenty of room for multiple people to use at once, and fantastic water pressure in the roomy showers. Plenty of amenities including grills, firewood, laundry, ice, beer, and snacks with what appears to be allot of ideas for future expansion and upgrades! Very few complaints. Do wish the grills were in better condition to cook on. There is a dusk to dawn light that is on all night and is very bright. Blocks allot of the natural beauty of the mountain at night time (not the owners fault tho.) Our particular cabin didn't have a porch light or a light where you park your bikes like the other cabins did. Overall, a great place to stay while riding the mountains, and I can't wait to come back again and see all the changes they continue to make!

This campground is amazingly! I had multiple conversations by phone and all were helpful and friendly. Upon arrival we were greeted by a husband wife team, checked in and given a tour of the grounds. While I didn’t see the point originally, it was very informative and helpful. This team is located onsite for any needs that you may have. It’s located far enough out of town to be secluded with beautiful Mountain View’s but close enough to ride to if you need supplies. Once you’re here, you have all that you need and even more that you didn’t know you needed. There is a leather dryer! Never even heard of a leather dryer but they have one. There’s a coffee bar, washer & dryer, outdoor pavilion w/ tables grills, smokers sinks, motorcycle tire change machine just to name a few. The restrooms are large and clean. The landscape is laid out in multiple levels. There are tent spots, cabins and camper locations. The views are amazing from anywhere onsite. Of course I’d go back and visit
