Be prepared for a long and bumpy road to get there. And then be prepared for limited campsites and a pit toilets with a door that doesn't lock. Then there's all the trash from the illegal campsites. That being said, the area is beautiful. And it's only a short, and mostly level, hike to the cave. Unless you have a keen interest in native petroglyphs, this place probably isn't worth the trip.

Amazing cave. Awesome to see the protective bars. To many people destroy things like this. The campground is very rustic. Small spaces. Trees tight. Could barely fit my full size truck through the camp. Couldn't imagine towing something or having a camper. Trail was well marked and clean.

Campground itself could use more shade, but that can't be helped. We had a vault toilet, dog friendly area, and an excellent opportunity to see a piece of history with cave pictographs an easy quarter mile away. Picnic table and fire ring.

Quiet campground, looks like it's been there a long time. Camping spaces are clean, toilet WAS NOT!! I cleaned it . Door needs a new latch doorknob, no way to lock it. A few biting gnats. I was there 4 nights, most of the time completely alone. ...
