Came on a Thursday to find a place close to a wedding reception. Sadly all the full hook up sites were taken. The price was great, but we are packed in like sardines! There are no sites with gravel or concrete, so bring plenty of leveling blocks as few sites are level and those are taken by seasonal campers. It's hard to tell where site boundries are and MANY of the campers abuse them! Pretty sure the campers on one side of us was taking up 2 sites! They had multiple cars coming and going and they parked their truck just a few feet from our camper and they even had room for a bags game! Since we couldn't tell where the boundaries were we chose not to make a big of a deal of it, but our picnic table was only a foot or so from our unit and the fire ring 2 ft from the table! Heather, the camp host was great, we asked about a burn ban(there was notification of one), we called, ended up leaving a message and she called us back! She wasnt sure if the staus, so took our site number so she could notify us of changes, which she did! Theres a playground, lots of shade, the river is close and a Casey's nearby. I would not make this a destination but would maybe stay again if...

The Host, her husband and people of the park is why I elevated what I would normally rate as a 3 star park. I have to reserve 5 stars for parks that are paved roads and lots with pools and hot tubs.
The people here are fabulous like they are your life long friends. We blew a tire on I380 15 miles south. We found the park on Google and explained the situation and they cleverly found room for us. The next day we learned we probably had 2 bent axles. Mike (host husband) set us up with RV dealerships and axle replace repair. We couldn't get everything repaired there but we got enough alignment to put on a new set of tires and push the 300 miles to Sioux Falls SD. We burned up 2 new tires but made it. Eventually we found a small Trailer repair and dealership who had axles in stock, we had to wait 3 weeks but have them on and we are now in Nebraska. We will never forget the wonderful people and VERY NICE park that helped us through a high stress mentally challenging start to full time RVing. Please visit this park, it's a wonderful spot, clean, neat and...
Read moreWent here with my in-laws, we have a small pop-up camper and they have a large RV, the park was able to accommodate both. Next to us was a grown man in a child's tent, he talked to himself all night and not quietly. At one point he walked over to our site, just stood by our fire - didn't say a word, didn't answer our questions and just walked away after a minute. After that he continued to have a conversation.....with himself, the convo ended in a screaming match..with himself. We took this as our que to go to bed. I later woke to our dog going crazy and what I thought was our door rattling. I didn't care to go explore the noise, but our dog was on edge for a while. The next morning our (friendly) neighbor was passed out on his picnic table, his tent was flat and disassembled a couple feet from his site. Needles to say, be observant who you camp next to. Don't plan on comming back unless it's...
