I want to give a huge thank you to Stacy!! We had some original plans that didn’t work out and needed a last minute area to stop. We came across this park and got a hold of Stacy, who was super helpful and incredibly, genuinely nice. We explained our situation and she allowed us to just finish driving and settle up at the office. Anyone who RVs knows that sometimes things just don’t go according to plan, and when you find parks like this and great people like Stacy who can accommodate you in emergency situations, it’s a true lifesaver! When we got there, she looked through the openings she had and gave us some options that allowed us to be a little flexible if we needed to extend. She even got us a spot with one of the best views in the park, right in front of the river in the back. Stacy, thank you again for being so warm and accommodating! You really turned our day around and helped us salvage and enjoy the rest of our evening in Wyoming.
It’s a very beautiful and spacious park with pull throughs. Everyone had a little room and privacy, and ours even had a nice sitting area to really enjoy the river and be outside. The park is also next to a quaint little town that has a lot of amazing restaurants to offer. Even though we were unfortunately just passing through, it would be a wonderful park to spend some extra time at and enjoy all the area...
Read moreNice facility, large spaces, easy to find. Restrooms, laundry room were clean & well kept. Game room & showers needed to be cleaned up a bit, not bad though(it was 9:30pm, people had showered/played after the office closed) We arrived late & it was pouring rain. Found our reservation nicely clipped in front, well lit. We easily found our pull through camp site & it was lit just enough to find it but not be a bother to those who may be sleeping. Love the fact that the rv spot was almost completely level, made it easy to get set up quickly! Staff was very nice & helpful when we called a few times for our reservations. The picnic table with the turf was really nice too! Dropped a star because there were not many places to walk our dogs with grass, it was really rocky everywhere(even an area with turf would have been nice, we didn't see a dog park area). They did have dog bags. There was no change machine for the laundry & after washing our clothes they smell dingy & gross.
One last suggestion, we like to take pictures of the campgrounds we stay in with their signs, I had a hard time getting a good angle with the sign on the cabin & other vehicles parked their. Maybe a sign up front in the garden on the right before entering the camp would be great for future RV'ers to take photos. Thanks we enjoyed our trip & hope to...
Read moreThis RV park did not disappoint! We called ahead while we were heading through Denver to see if they had any spots open for later that night. The lady who answered the phone was very kind and assured us she had a spot for us. It was dark when we arrived, but she left us paperwork at the main building stating where are spot was.
The RV park sits right alongside the Platte River and there are spots that have a gorgeous view. We stayed in site 2 so we were right next to the main entrance but we had no trouble with noise. This park does have complete hookups with 30 amp or 50 amp services.
The entire park is very well taken care of. I believe most spots have a tree, and a picnic table on turf (ours did) and the spots are very roomy. The nightly price, includes amenities like WIFI.
The park has many hang out areas, with a pool table room, jungle gym for kiddos, and basketball court. They also had showers, bathrooms and laundry. Laundry was $2.00 per load but it was very convenient for us to do are laundry there before heading out to the Grand Tetons. Both the showers and bathrooms were in immaculate condition!
The staff is amazing. We can't say enough about the customer service. The lady who worked there was very very kind! If we are in the area ever again, this is where we will be staying with...
