Do not get work done at this shop! I checked in to get 6 tires replaced and the first manager I spoke with seemed to be very helpful and informative, however, there was a shift change under my nose and those guys dropped the ball!
I was told by the first manager that they would keep the new tires together and put the used tires together. I park and come back a short while later to see if my approval had yet gone through. When I open the door there was a guy named Travorious behind the counter who didn’t seem to want to work and had a minor attitude. Thinking nothing of it, I was then questioned if I really needed 6 tires replaced now. He even expressed to me how his manager, Leland, doesn’t do any work. Not long after I get cleared to pull into a bay.
I drop my trailer in the bay, and park my truck in a parking spot before the lot filled up for the night patiently waiting for a phone call stating the work had been completed. Upon receiving said phone call whilst walking into the office, I notice on 2 separate axles there are a new and old tire together. Once in the office, I informed Leland I was told the new tires were to be put together and the old tires were to be put together. If you have ever purchased a single tire for a tandem at a Loves location before, you know they do not advise doing such. Correct? I am not sure why there was any difference here. Leland pretended to not know what I was talking about and stated he would walk outside with me to get clarity.
We walk out into the shop, I show him what I am talking about and explain to him the situation and that I would like for them to be put together for safety reasons and because that’s is the impression I was under was going to take place. He quickly grew an attitude with me. He gave several excuses stating they are only working off of one jack tonight, they could not jack up both axles at the same time, the tread depth difference would not be that big of a difference and that he had so much other business behind me and didn’t want to delay them because the shop closes at 11:00PM to name a few. It was not yet 8:00PM at this time. I redressed my issues offering a solution stating I would like the tires/rims simply switched to how they should be. His attitude continued to grow as he expressed that he had to help the black male in the shop for me and he put the shop on hold for my tall order in a very irritated tone. This further confirmed to me the two don’t work well together.
After redressing my concerns for a third time, he added that I would have to be put at the back of the list and reiterated the shop closes at 11:00PM amongst the other list of excuses stated above. Insinuating he would not get back to my truck. I gave him the analogy that if someone at this shop put the wrong part on my truck or even put it on my truck wrong, it would have to be addressed right then. Leland quickly shut that down refusing to resolve the issue. Very irritated, I follow him inside to get my paperwork.
Long story short, Leland and Travorious are very unprofessional. They made it very clear they do not like working with each other nor did the want to work. My issues is still not yet resolved. I will be in touch with corporate about this incident first thing in the morning. I definitely do not recommend anyone get work done under...
Read moreEverything here is pretty good other than the attitude and customer service. It is still professional. However, if you had gotten used to it being the nice and friendly and courteous services they dealt when you would stop by then the way they have been acting now this week is just a little disappointing. Need more uplifting stuff said about your customers. Shouldn't just wait until your customer walks out the door and then start speaking I'll of them or negative in any way. Other than that, this place has always got a good and clean and all working latrines and excellent choices you can make between honey buns and chips and drinks and more from loves I love to go get my coffee there and the fact that they offer the creamer for free. If they don't have what you need then you can easily try your luck at the arby's that is also inside of the same building and you can reach without ever walking out the door. Jamocha shake from Arby's is the best and let's not forget the fact that there is also a godfathers pizza that is located in a little space in between the arby's and the loves. Truck drivers are always welcomed and treated good their as well. They have a service part and tire part and a place for over the roaders can go to take a shower and get a clean filling about themselves as they wash their grime and stress...
Read moreI decided to stop here for a 10 hour break tonight. I have never stayed here before, or at least it’s been too long to remember. Arrived about 9:20 pm and was surprised to see a huge parking lot, especially for a Loves. I parked and went inside to use the restroom and grab a bite to eat. While in the restroom, I noticed 1 of the 2 soap dispensers were empty as well as all 3 of the paper towel dispensers were empty. I used the blow dryers instead. When I walked out, I thought I’d just let the employees know so they’d be aware, if they weren’t already, of the restroom issues and be on my way. I spoke with the lady at the register and she directed me to the fuel desk as they were the ones that handle the men’s restroom. I explained to the gentleman what the issues were and before I could get all my words out, an employee by the name Michael interrupted me and said “I know they were just full, we don’t have time to stare at the machine and know exactly when they’re empty”. I explained to him I was just letting him know and he could do with the info whatever he wanted. He was just a real jerk for no reason and I didn’t appreciate it. I’ll probably be back if I’m ever in the area strictly because of the large parking area but y’all’s customer service could really use some work. Hopefully...
