We camped here last week of April 2021 and our family has been singled out by the controlling staff. The staff has visited us Saturday and told us to turn down our music around 8pm, 2 hours before quiet time, their rules clearly states that quiet time is at 10pm to 8am. Mind you, that our music wasn't full blast and they act like it was, we surveyed the circumference of our site to see if you can really hear it and it's barely noticeable. And our neighbors are also doing their thing with fairly amount of noice, I don't see them getting a warning. Then the next day Sunday, it was raining and cold, so instead of going to play in the river we decided to stay in and just hangout, play games and listen to music. Around 2pm, middle of the day, a lady staff, gives us another warning and states that, "ALL DAY IS QUIET TIME" soooo what is it really????? Do you just make up rules as you go??? She was sooo rude and was yelling at us the whole time. And just to let you know the rv park is almost empty because everyone left, we don't even have neighbors beside us and probably some people left earlier in the day to do adventures in sequioa. Another staff came, a man in a truck... I specifically asked him if they have a decibel limit and he was like, "IT'S NORMALLY OLDER CROWD THAT COMES HERE -- PEOPLE ARE QUIETER." This place is not wholesome, they cater to older crowds who are threatened by the sound of laughter, don't come here and expect you can play card games, play music, or just laughing out loud having quality time with your family, this is not the place, they wanted the place to be as quiet as a cemetery..... they police your every move. Also: * Shower pressure sucks, and the shower head are so low, you have to be at least 5 feet tall so you don't have to duck down. My legs were cramping by the end of the shower. * For a 55 site capacity, they only have one location for bathroom with three stalls each for shower and toilet, it's attached to the main office. * The staff don't follow state guidelines to wear masks, good thing we're vaccinated though. * If you are going to reserve their tent site, make sure to bring ear plugs or sleeping aids, the tent site is so close to the 65 highway that you can hear the passing vehicles so clearly. Lamest camp ground we've ever stayed at!!!! And we've stayed in a lot of beautiful, fun and accommodating ones. Our family camps lots of times a year, this was the most distasteful place we've ever been to. Never coming back to this one for sure. Only pro that I'll mention is that it's dog friendly. Good luck!

We stayed 4 nights at Lemon Cove Village RV site 16 in a 36’ 5th wheel camper. We arrived at 1:30 and the sign on door said “closed, be back at 2”. There was plenty of room to park while we waited for the office to open. When they opened, check in was easy and the woman at the desk was very pleasant. The rate was $65 a night and we received a 10% Good Sam discount. I made reservations almost a year out but they didn’t charge my card until we arrived. The roads in the park are gravel and wide enough to maneuver easily. The sites are also gravel. Our site was level front to rear but we needed several leveling blocks to get level side to side. While setting up the camper the maintenance guy, Kevin, stopped by to check on the sewer connection as the previous camper ran over it and it had been repaired. He was quite friendly. The site was just long enough for my camper. Once unhooked I had to park my truck to the side but there was plenty of room. The water and electric were conveniently located but the sewer was to the rear of the camper. I had to hook 2 hoses together to reach the connection. The water pressure was very low. It was the lowest water pressure I’ve ever had camping. If my fresh water tanks were sanitized I’d have preferred to add water to them and use the water pump for decent pressure. There were trees by my camper that provided decent shade. They were well trimmed, as were other trees throughout the park. There were bird nests and lots of birds in the trees by my camper that left bird poop on the top of my slide and on my motorcycle. Our site had a small picnic table and was separated from the next site by a wood rail fence. It was a pleasant place to relax in the afternoon after exploring Sequoia and Kings Canyon by motorcycle. We were thankful for the shade, even with the birds. I had 2 bars of cell signal with AT&T. I could usually connect to the Wi-Fi and when I did I had Internet speeds between 5.41 – 9.19 Mbps. We used the laundry room and there were no issues with it other than people (staff lady) leaving their stuff in the washers when it was finished. I would stay here again if coming back to the area. It’s a good location for someone with a large camper.

Perhaps it’s the name “Lemon Cove” that makes this so inviting. Although my discovery was rather serendipitous.

Somehow poor planning on a road trip resulted in me staying for two consecutive nights and then back again (by choice) for another night during the same trip.

There’s aura of calm when you arrive and walk through the site. The surroundings are lush, and the site is very well maintained and manicured by the groundsman (who also happens to be very friendly and helpful!).

The park sits nestled in between the rolling California hills which (I think) helps with the airflow, so it doesn’t seem to get too hot. By comparison I also did two nights at the Horse Creek campsite (about 10 mins away) and it was much warmer there.

There’s a bit of a small ranch feel to the place, which makes it feel homely in my opinion. Perhaps this rubs off on the people that stay here too, because everyone I bumped into was very kind and sociable.

Know that you’ll be greeted with a smile and made to feel very welcome by the staff here! They’ll also offer you some free citrus grown on site (which is freakin delicious).

On to the practical stuff, the bathrooms are clean, well maintained and secured. The showers are also very good. There’s a shop on site, with basic amenities which is handy, and there’s laundry available too. (Bring plenty of quarters). I was on a basic site with water, which weren’t as popular because most people here had RVs and require hookups, which are on the other side of the park. This is good if your camper (like mine) is self contained because you can have a little slice of it to yourself, but you’re still close enough to friendly neighbors!

In terms of things to do, Sequoia National Park is a stones throw away and it’s incredibly beautiful (one of the highlights of my trip). You also have easy access to all of the recreation areas around Lake Kaweah (10 mins drive away) which is beautiful for outdoor actives, and easy hiking trails along the river.

Full disclosure, the food I posted in my images was my creation (pork curry), so don’t expect to be fed here, unless you happen to bump into me next time, just don’t take site 43 ;-), it’s my...
