In celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, our children decided to gift a stay at the Pleasanton to us. While we very thankful and humbled by their generosity, we were unprepared for the blessedly surreal experience that awaited us.
Upon arrival, Claude, one of the owners, met us as we climbed the stairs to the immense gorgeous wrap-around porch. We were then transported to what felt like another world. He checked us in and gave us a tour of the well planned, beautifully groomed, expanse premises. The thought and care put into establishing this oasis is evident throughout.
We then met Ingrid, Claude’s stunning wife and partner. Greater than any power couple, they offer themselves! Their kindness, attention and care fill up and overflow from the actual bed and breakfast into the local community. Since they have established a beautifully symbiotic relationship with other small business owners throughout the surrounding communities, they willingly connect their patrons with the finest dining, entertainment, sight-seeing, shopping and worship experiences locally. When you stay at the Pleasanton, you know where to go for the best of things – if you decide to even go anywhere.
So, if you bypass venturing out, the immaculately clean and ample amenities include hot tub, salt water swimming pool, Wi-Fi and streaming services, breakfast (obviously), work out facilities, sauna, theater room, and more. They even connected us with Oasis of Equilibrium, local masseuses who provided the best massage ever – in house!
Finally, I have gluten intolerance. I have learned to eat what I can, avoid what I can’t and reject anything suspicious. Basically, I have learned beautiful contentment with what I can have. However, please know that Claude and Ingrid have gone above and beyond catering to this intolerance, they provide the most aesthetically pleasing, deliciously satisfying gluten-free breakfast one can imagine. (Gluten intolerant people, I had NO reaction to the oats in one of the dishes. Know yourself.)
Should you find yourself road-weary and travel-worn or simply in need of getaway, please “Come by here. . .” Indeed, peace and pleasure are the adventure at the Pleasanton Courtyard Bed and...
Read moreI skimmed through some of the reviews before booking, and honestly speaking, those reviews are valid.
To start with the general interior of the house, it is spotlessly clean! I have a phobia for dirty toilets, moldy showers, bathrooms, or messy house interiors. This Bed and Breakfast is very clean. The ensuite bathroom is cleaner than most bathrooms in some high-end 4&5 star hotels I've stayed at so far.
This gem of a Bed and Breakfast has two of the best hosts I've ever had the chance of meeting. Ingrid and Claude are warm and welcoming. They have a magical aura around them that gives you the feeling you are entering a world full of genuine goodness.
I didn't feel like a guest. The energy felt more like we were long-lost friends catching up with each other. They were very communicative before our arrival. The entire experience from beginning to end was great.
From check-in, to parking, Claude's tour showing us all the amenities the property has to offer (way too many to list in details here), to the delightful vegan breakfast, (last but not least) their wonderful accommodations to my ditary restrictions, even after i informed them it was merely an ask and not a requirement for booking. They definitely went above and beyond what was expected, and I'm grateful i didn't have to drive into town to grab breakfast in the mornings.
Beautiful clean and amazing experience. This establishment is located in a safe and stunning part of Fairburn. The room was extremely well appointed; the big difference is the care and attention to detail delivered by Ingrid and Claude.
Whether you're looking for a getaway, treating yourself, or looking to gift someone a retreat, i would highly recommend this place. I will happily stay here again in the future. It's definitely a 5-star experience...

My husband and I spent four wonderful nights at Pleasanton Courtyard Bed and Breakfast to celebrate his birthday, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience.
The setting is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, charming, and impeccably maintained. One of the details that stood out to us was how the house has one or two of their wedding pictures. It added such a personal, romantic touch and made the space feel even warmer.
Our room was clean clean clean! spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, with every detail carefully considered to ensure comfort and relaxation.
Each morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast. The quality and variety were fantastic, and it was the perfect way to start our days exploring the surrounding area
Mr. Claude greeted us at the door with such kindness and we appreciated the thoughtful gift of a cigar gift he gave my husband for his birthday. He even turned on some music for us while we relaxed by the pool.
A special thank you to Ms. Ingrid, who went above and beyond—on the day of our early check-out, she kindly prepared a to-go breakfast for us, complete with that amazing French press coffee! That level of care and thoughtfulness was truly appreciated and didn’t go unnoticed. ((Side note: she also pronounced my name correctly which many people can not do. This little detail meant a lot to me. )) Ms. Ingrid is amazing!
If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway look no further. We can’t wait to return and will be recommending Pleasanton Courtyard to all our friends and...
