Faulkton Inn — Hotel in Faulkton

We have stayed here in the past a few times. Would like to say thanks to the new managers, we think they are doing a great job! The rooms were much cleaner than they were in the past. The hotel atmosphere seemed to be more relaxing also. When we checked in and we saw another new person behind the counter introduced ourselves and you made us feel really at ease from the introductions. We checked in and we talked with you for a while finding that you were going to get a reservation system implemented in the process, great idea! You told us of where to go eat and have a cocktail Dot T's great choice, friendly place. We stay at many places since we have retired and you two made us feel very welcomed, that hard to find anymore. In the morning (after a great night sleep (great beds by the way)) when we went to get coffee (we get up early) and you had already made coffee for us that was nice and thank you again. Next we saw you and your wife getting ready to clean rooms, when we asked why you were doing this you stated that your housekeeper had quit, (that's why we weren't disturbed by the old housekeeper) and went about your business. You two really bring back the old work hard ethics to the mom and pop hotel and motels that used to always be.||We will be back and hope to see you on our travels. ||Happy Trails...

This is a great out-of-the-way place to stay. I arrived late at night and Rebecca was very accommodating to my late arrival. They have done alot of upgrades and are working on more. It is quiet and comfortable with a very friendly family atmosphere. I had to deal with extra business issues and she was very helpful in giving me plenty of time past check out time in order to deal with things. The rooms are comfortable with soft beds and nice hot showers. All the towels were clean and fluffy. All in all a wonderful place to stay. I highly recommend you stay here if you are ever in the area. To me it would even be worth being a little out of where I need to be just to stay here again. We recently stayed at Faulkton Inn for a wedding weekend! The staff was super attentive and willing to help us block off a parking spot for our electric vehicle (EV). They even sent us photos to help us figure out what type of EV adapters we would need to charge at their hotel.

I would highly recommend Faulkton Inn to anyone, especially with an EV, traveling through SoDak.

1. 50 amp circuit on the East Side of Hotel -- see pictures
2. NEMA 10-50P to 14-50R Adapter, 50Amp Plug to 4 Prong Female, Compatible with EV for Level 2 Charging
3. Most Mobile Chargers reduce 50amps to 32 amp limit
4. Make sure you adjust your amp rate to 32amp in the car, before you charge from this circuit.
