I recently had the privilege of participating in the YogaFit 100-Hour Sound Healer Training, led by the exceptional Catina Topash. Catina’s extensive qualifications and profound expertise made this experience truly transformative.
Catina Topash is a Certified Yoga Therapist, Sound Healer, Reiki Practitioner, and a distinguished member of the YogaFit Yoga Therapy faculty. As a YogaFit Senior Master Trainer, she brings a wealth of knowledge from over 25 other certifications, including prestigious ones from the American Council on Exercise and DK Body Pilates. Her Master's Degree in Music and impressive career as a flutist in orchestras and ensembles across North America add a unique depth to her teaching.
The 100-hour Sound Healer Training is a meticulously crafted program that reflects Catina’s profound understanding of sound therapy and holistic healing. The curriculum includes her latest contributions: Therapeutics in Sound Healing and Biofield Tuning. These modules were particularly enlightening, offering practical techniques and theoretical knowledge that are immediately applicable.
Catina’s teaching style is a harmonious blend of consistency and compassion. She creates an inclusive, supportive environment that encourages exploration and growth. Her ability to convey complex concepts with clarity and patience is remarkable, making advanced practices accessible to all participants, regardless of their prior experience.
Throughout the training, Catina’s passion for sound healing was profound. Her sessions were a beautiful synergy of theoretical learning and hands-on practice. The meditative soundscapes she created during practical sessions were not only therapeutic but also deeply moving. The personal attention and feedback she provided helped me refine my techniques and gain confidence in my practice.
The knowledge and skills I acquired during this training have profoundly impacted my approach to healing. I now feel equipped to integrate sound healing into my practice, offering my clients a holistic and enriched experience. Catina’s influence has inspired me to continue exploring the vast potentials of sound therapy.

This is our third year of family vacationing there and we’ve already booked our next year (2022) weekend! We couldn’t be more pleased staying at JJ’s Folly because there’s something for everyone! Our grand kids and adult children absolutely LOVE the 20 acre lake, hiking the trails and watching the chickens and goats! Relaxing on one of the several chairs/swings watching the kids play, walking the serene trail or taking in the beautiful sunsets with birds singing, butterflies and dragonflies fluttering around resets our souls for our everyday busy lives! ||JJ’s Folly home is a unique, comfortable and spacious place! Actually partially on the water with wrap around decks overlooking this man made pond. The rooms are neatly done with comfortable beds and the usual amenities. There are bathrooms either in the room or next door to the bed room. This rather unusual building was called a "folly" by the neighbors when it was being built in the 1970's. It was this size because of the number of children it needed to accommodate. It works very well for guests as there are a number of sitting areas, decks and places to hang out. There are paddle boards available as well as other waterfront equipment || ||The owners are Bryan and Catina Topash. He is a fitness instructor and she teaches yoga. There are yoga retreats offered over weekends from time to time.
