WAS there 1-31-15 at 4 oclock the people working there were the worst filthiest and laziest people I have ever seen in my life I have been across the country in our motorcoach for years and they are the worst I have seen, and I have seen a whole lot I.showed up to fill propane tank the rather foul smelling man with very chronic halitosis. and alcohol stinch Stated I would have to come back tomorrow to get filled because he was ready to go back to his trailer, The propane was right on the way to his trailer but he said no again I thought he was joking as he was very stern. door said they close at 5 I wonder how these 2 even got the job talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel. The lady next to the piece of work started barking some non understandable sentence I was completely caught off guard and shocked at this treatment I tried to be nice as we were out of propane and simply wanted to stay warm for the night. Fine way to treat a retired combat veteran the owners will surely be notified in the morning that if they cant do a honest days work there is something wrong. I guess 2or3 extra blankets for the night I have been treated better in IRAQ, STEER CLEAR...
Read moreThis is a well kept campground run by kind and helpful staff. Check in was quick and easy, but despite still being under a state indoor mask mandate, there were none to be seen here. The layout and spacing is pretty typical of commercial camping with level sites throughout. Our pull-through site was easy to access, and while we fit, it was snug all the way around. Our utilities were easy to reach and worked well, including a heated water hook-up (handy here in the winter), and our Verizon service worked well without a booster. The park is pretty tight on space and low on grass for dog walking, but they do offer a reasonably sized dog run and there is an open field behind that park that worked well for us. There is only a little road noise, thanks to their privacy wall, but there is a lot of coming and going throughout the park (though every car that passed, drove slowly, and I didn’t hear a single car stereo). This CG is more expensive than what we usually pay for this type of site/location, and their actual pricing is a little different/vague from what I saw on their website - nightly we paid $44.18: $38 for March/Winter + $1 resort fee + $1 pet fee...
Read moreA good, no-frills RV Park to stay at as you are traveling. Each site has a concrete pad for your rig and your vehicle. Sites are close, but it works. There are some long term campers, but it looks like most are moving through and only staying a night or two. A lot of traffic in and out and a big turnover in the morning. In the center of the campground, there is a large building that has a nice rec room and very nice laundry and bathrooms, all in one place. The bathrooms are individual and large, basically just like home. Everything was clean. The WIFI worked well. Nice camp store.
There is grass at some sites, but not all, it was challenging to find some grass for our little dog. There is no dog park. There are NO picnic tables. There are no other amenities – no playground, nothing for families. Because it’s the Nevada desert, it’s sweltering hot with blistering sun during the day (no shade trees), and quite cold at night. With our windows closed, there was relentless noise from the highway all night long. Recommended as a clean, no-frills place to stay as you are...
