Lake Campbell Lodging — Hotel in Fidalgo Island

Unfortunately we didn't even get the opportunity to stay. I am a wedding coordinator and was lookin to book the entire lodge for two nights in August of next year, 2022 for my clients.

I spoke with the owner Jeannette for the first time about a month ago when I went to look at the wedding venue in Oak Harbor. This is how I came across this establishment. She gave me general pricing and said I need to book atleast a year ahead of time to assure Its availability.

Three weeks later I call her to confirm that I want to book. She then tells me she will need to put together a price for the available 9 rooms and then she would call me the following week on a Thursday.

I never received a call so I call her Friday, the day after she agrees to call me. This is where I'm dumbfounded. She tells me we can't book that weekend because there's a family that has booked the whole lodge the 3rd weekend in August every year for the past 28 years....

I mean, are we being serious . She couldn't have told me the first time I called? To top it off, she says she has no online booking. Doesn't deal with emails, basically no technology. WOW!

This is a prime example of unprofessionalism at its finest. This experience alone has been the deciding factor in removing Lake Campbell Lodging as a preferred vendor for any of my figure...

Absolutely love this place!!! The rooms are great with a lot of thought put into the furnishings and extras in them, but the beat thing about the place is the little old lady running the front desk! She is so personable, nice, and genuine! I love her to death!. She made me feel like I just pulled up to my grandma's house and she came out to say how are you? Are you hungry? Come in, come in. That kind of welcoming and kindness. And it is genuine hospitality too, and not the fake smile in your face and then talk smack about you behind your back like you get at a lot of places out there. She is the real deal and a true gem to be treasured. This is definitely the only place we will be staying at from now on when we visit the area!! They are right when they say "they strive to make you feel like family here", on their webpage! They nailed it for sure!! Love love love this place!! Can't say enough good things about it. Lake Cambell Lodging..there are not enough wonderful things to say. Our family has been coming to Campbell's for the last 25 year's for our family reunion weekend at Bowmans Bay. The rooms are clean, pet friendly, wonderful accommodations and atmosphere. Jannette and staff have become extended family through the years, providing a fun and perfect experience for our large extended family. The location is perfect for visiting all the sites around Deception Pass. Great kitchens, t.v.s, coffee...perfect for a family get together or overnight. We absolutely love it. They go the extra mile for us, and also put our reunion on the reader board each year, which has become the photo marker of our annual storybook. Incredibly hospitable, caring and professional. Thank you to the wonderful staff for our excellent experiences throughout all the years. We love Lake Campbell! We'll keep coming a long as...
