First time here and we had a very hard time finding our spot ( #56 ). Drove around and finally had to ask someone that was parked in an RV. No host which was ok but would have been nice to have someone to go to in regards to the park area. We noticed a few people park and stay in their cars near a play area destinated for the kids. Also cars randomly drive in and out checking out the area. I think there should be someone there to monitor that. I don't think anyone should be allowed to stay inside unless you are camping there. After I noticed 3 men in a car watch my daughter play, we left that area. I did not feel safe at all.
Getting to our spot, we noticed what looked like salt poured over numerous areas. Not sure why it was there. The space online stated it had a BBQ. All it had was a shallow dirty campfire pit. Not sure if that is considered a BBQ. My husband had to walk to the front of the park to cook our food. Make sure you bring extra long hook up equipment. We were not able to back into our space due to the electric/ water post being too far from our RV and our cords were too short. We have never had this issue before. There was a lot of trash around our unit. Caution tape, food wrappers and Empty foil cooking containers filled with a lot of debris which made me question when the area was maintained last. A big reason there should be a park host.
I am not sure we will...

And this was the first back in site us relatively new RVers have ever negotiated. Hearing horror stories of several hour attempts by some, I was surprised when our 27 foot Airstream was in position within 10 minutes. ||||The campsite offered 30 amp power and water, though no sewer connection. ||||Pros: ||Plenty of mature trees for shade||Decently clean bathrooms||Grassy area is available for baseball, lawn games etc. However, the kid slides and such were marked as off limits due to Covid. ||||Cons: ||There really isn't anything to do nearby||Grocery store run is about a 2 mile trip||Some sites are a real challenge from a level perspective, so scoping out a specific site would be helpful. ||||In non Covid times there are a couple of things one might do in Fillmore, but the places I looked into were indefinitely closed due to Covid.||Night number one was super quiet. Though on our second night, the party noise didn't stop until nearly 2am. That was frustrating.||||Would I stay here again? Been here, done that, somewhere else...
