Forks Farm & Market — Hotel in Fishing Creek Township

Our family happened to be in the area for a quick hiking trip and when I googled farmers markets in the area, Forks Farm came up! I reached out to them via email about purchasing some beef and they were SO prompt and friendly in their response. I managed to place an order that I was able to pick up shortly thereafter. We stopped by on our way home from vacation and stocked up on local farm-raised meat, eggs and butter from the friendly folks at Forks. We splurged on some hard-to-find items like duck and rabbit, and they had some beautiful osso bucco and chorizo. The meat was all frozen and nicely packed. The eggs came direct from the barn and were so fresh they were still warm! I cooked the duck last week and it was excellent- more flavorful and less fatty than I'd found closer to home. John and Todd have an excellent selection of food items. Market day is also provides a diverse selection of other wares. Support local farmers, they go through a lot to provide the real freshest stuff! Example: Every Thanksgiving, they butcher turkeys a week or less before the holiday. That bird is so tasty!!
