What an honor it was to be the very first guests in the brand new Magnolia Cabin back in early June! From our first contact with the friendly and responsive owner to the end of our stay, we were thoroughly impressed. The location was perfect, close enough to the main sights, but tucked into the woods on a quiet property. The large, wrap-around porch offered serene views, shade, ceiling fans, a grill, a comfortable seating area, and a hot tub. We took advantage of all of them. The cabin itself had a spacious, open-concept living/dining area with large windows, lots of natural light, plenty of seating options for dining and for lounging, and a fireplace. The kitchen was very well-appointed, as were the baths, bedrooms, and the cabin in general. Umbrellas, extra towels, paper products, tourist brochures, wild-life guides, games... We were continuously surprised at what all the they thought of. This is their first dog-friendly cabin and our lab certainly felt spoiled. The owner built gates onto the porch just in time for our stay. There were dog bowls, dog treats, dog towels, dog waste bags, even a crate in case we needed it. We can't say enough about this place, and we can't wait to go back!!

This place was absolutely wonderful. We were told ahead of time there would be a 10 am checkout and I wished we could have had a later one because we had gone to a wedding the night before and that was a rough time to be up and out but that would be my only minor complaint. If you want a later checkout highly recommend booking the extra day. It was a peaceful, relaxing, wonderful place to stay. The manager came to make sure the hot tub was clean / ph balance was good while we were there (cleanest hot tub at a vrbo I’ve ever experienced!) yet never disturbed our privacy. That was also a huge plus in my book. Would definitely go back.

We recently stayed at Asheville Country Cabins for my sister’s wedding. We were so pleased with our experience! The location is convenient to shopping and downtown Asheville. The property is absolutely gorgeous! The cabins were all tastefully decorated and pretty private despite being on the same property. Comfy beds, all the necessities you need for your stay, very clean. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Peter and Shane were both very helpful and responsive. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Asheville!

This is truly a special place! My husband and one-year-old son stayed at the Mountain Laurel in early December and were blown away by the space, as well as the hospitality of the lovely family that owns the property. When we arrived, the cabin was beautifully decorated for the holidays, complimentary treats were waiting for us, and a pack ‘n play and highchair were set up for my son. We received a warm greeting by Shane, one of the family members, who gave us a very helpful orientation around the cabin.

First of all, the cabin was immaculate. The attention to detail in maintaining the cleanliness of this space was remarkable. Every nook and cranny seemed to have received meticulous care, and the pristine condition of the entire property surpassed my expectations.

The cabin was much bigger than the photos made it appear––a larger family or two couples could easily be comfortable in the large kitchen, living areas, and bedrooms. The interior design created a warm and inviting atmosphere, and it was clear that thoughtful touches had been added in each room.

Sometimes in rentals, you get the sense that the sheets, towels, mattresses, and blankets, are afterthoughts. Not so for Asheville Country Cabins! Everything they provided truly felt luxe. The kitchen was well-equipped (and spotless, of course) and the large, wraparound porch had a grill and a state-of-the-art hot tub.

The location of the property was also ideal, offering easy access to Asheville's attractions while maintaining a sense of tranquility and refuge. We were about 20 minutes from downtown, the Biltmore Estate, and the NC Arboretum. Minutes from groceries and some great takeout spots. (Which are all listed in the personalized guidebook that the hosts so helpfully provided.)

The hosts were incredibly accommodating and responsive, making the entire experience seamless. They generously provided the gear for my son and accommodated our last-minute request for a late checkout.

If it sounds like I’m gushing––well, I am. This place is deserving of it. The thoughtful design, convenient amenities, and welcoming atmosphere make it a standout choice. We had a fantastic stay and will absolutely return to this amazing retreat...

My husband, pup and I recently had the privilege of spending three months in the luxurious Magnolia Cabin nestled in the heart of the North Carolina mountains and can honestly say it was an experience beyond anything we could have imagined. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that no detail had been overlooked. The cabin itself was nothing short of spectacular—tastefully designed with a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern luxury. Every room was meticulously curated, with high-end furnishings, a fully equipped chef’s kitchen, and expansive windows that framed breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

The true standout was the level of customer service. The owners went above and beyond to ensure our stay was flawless. Every need was anticipated, and they made sure we had everything we could possibly want—whether it was recommending hidden hiking spots, or ensuring the cabin was stocked with premium essentials (wine, gourmet coffee, plush towels, and more). They even provided thoughtful touches like local handmade soaps, personalized welcome gifts, and detailed itineraries for exploring the area.

The cabin was equipped with all the amenities one could wish for, and then some. A state-of-the-art hot tub overlooking the mountains, a fireplace perfect for cozy evenings, and a stunning outdoor space for dining al fresco were just a few of the features that made this retreat so special. We felt truly pampered throughout our entire stay.

What set this experience apart from any other was the seamless blend of privacy and personal attention. We never felt intruded upon, but whenever we had a question or request, it was met with efficiency and genuine care.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable mountain getaway with unparalleled service and luxury, this cabin is the place to be. We are staying for four months...

Asheville Country Cabins is the perfect place to relax, disconnect, and enjoy all that Asheville has to offer. I celebrated my 40th birthday in Asheville and was lucky enough to find Asheville Country Cabins. It offered the perfect set-up for what I needed for my family and friends. I was able to rent both of the cabins on the property and designated one for a small group of family and the other for a small group of friends that were celebrating with me. As described in the listing, the cabins very comfortably accomodate 6 adults and have plenty of seating. Upon my arrival, Peter was there to meet me. He walked me around the property and gave me an orientation to the layout and specifics of each cabin. They literally thought of everything. For example, all of the lights switches are labeled so their is no guess work, clear instructions for how to operate the television, fireplace, and hot tub were provided, and wood was chopped and ready for the firepit. The cabins are new and were very well decorated and stocked with plenty of towels and even designated washcloths for make-up removal. When I say, they thought of everything, I truly mean it. We had everything we needed for the entire weekend. Peter and his family live on the property, so they were always available and very responsive to questions and were happy to offer recommendations for the best places to eat and things to do. The cabins are also centrally located. Grocery stores and restaurants are close and we were able to drive to Biltmore Forest and the Biltmore for my birthday brunch and tour in about 12 minutes. Downtown Asheville and the River Arts District were about 20 minutes away. I highly recommend Asheville Country Cabins for your next...
