Cactus Country RV Park — Hotel in Floresville

We stayed in site 4 in August 2020. Our site was large enough for our RV and towed vehicle. The first night we had both sites next to us occupied but after that there was no one directly next to us. The site was gravel but with paved roads leading in. I never figured out the office hours but we could usually find someone whenever we looked. The door might be locked but they were around. All employees were very nice as were the residents that we spoke with. All utilities worked well. The bathrooms were always clean. We walked through the recreation rooms and they were clean and comfortable. There was a huge selection of books in the lending library. The laundry was in great shape and was only $1.75 per machine. The pool was very clean and actually a little cool! The campground is very well maintained. There are nice desert gardens all around. A couple of residents keep bird feeders and water. It was fun watching all the birds and other wildlife. This is the best of both in campgrounds. It works well as a overnight stop as it is close to I-10 but is quiet and welcoming to use as a base for visiting the area. Although the campground is near I-10 and on a pretty major highway it was very quiet in the campground. The area seems to be newly developed with major shopping close by. The owners of this RV Park are absolutely wonderful people... We loved our extended stay here while we were here working out of town... The grounds are kept clean and beautifully landscaped.. The restrooms and showers were always clean.. The only recommendation that I would suggest is possibly adding more washers and dryers for happy campers to do their laundry... Other than that, the atmosphere is very family oriented and we had a wonderful stay here.. Owners are very nice and very fair and understanding if any problems should ever arise.. I can't thank them enough for all the help and support they gave to Us when My Son (who also rented an RV Spot here) was killed in an auto accident while we were staying here... They were absolutely wonderful to Us and very understanding... If I could give 10 🌟, I definitely would... Anyone that stays here will not be disappointed... GREAT PLACE TO...

This was our first 1 month stop and although probably beautiful during the spring and summer, is not during the winter. Majority of the campers here are long term and their areas really show. Our neighbor has been there for 5 years. The amount of eclectic knick knacks spread around as decor seemed like junk during the gloomy winter season. There were multiple issues with water being off due to the city doing local construction. Washing machine was down more than it was up until it was eventually replaced prior to us departing.
