A-OK Motel — Hotel in Fordyce

A family member stayed at this motel last week. He checked in unpacked his belongings and then left to get food and visit with family and friends, arrived back to the motel later on that night tried to use his room card key (blinking red lights) after a few attemps to get in the room still unsuccessful he went to the front office to see if perhaps someone was there or emergency contact phone number. Nothing... he ended up staying with a relative. next morning he arrived at the office and explained the situation. the owner said " Nothing we can do about that, we don't give refunds or free nights". If you stay at this little cheap place ask about emergency or after hours a phone number to ba abke to...

Try to rent a room manager was harassing me about my mom in the car and I explained she was with me because iwas visiting her and she will not be staying but keep insisting that iwas going to have her there I ask for a refund because trust has to be 2 way street so don't stay they will violate your rights and not respect you as a human being count your days yall will not be in business long treating people...

This place had turned around immensely. They are really great people who offer good service. Highly recommend stopping here if you are passing through or just looking for a weekly place if you are in town for business or pleasure. Have done a great job remodeling the rooms. Many of the bad reviews were posted under a different owner/management. I would not agree with those reviews now....
