I'll begin by saying I have never reviewed any thing online ever, but felt my experience here was so I unique I couldn't go with out telling my story. My girlfriend and I are riding our bikes across the the USA, we woke up the morning of our visit to the budget inn in Langtry TX in our tent, in a thunderstorm, in 4 inches of water. We proceeded to get poured on during our ride toward Sanderson during which we got four flat tires. When we arrived in town we were exhausted and weiry. Upon riding up to the budget inn we met Danny tending to his herbs outside. Without even asking us if we were going to stay at the inn he offered to make tea and asked us to make ourselves at home in his small garden area. After purchasing a room for the night he told us he would be making us dinner around 7:30 as we looked like we could us a hot meal! I have never been treated so well by a stranger in my life!!! Truly a kind and honest man, the room was nice as well! I would say if you are going to stay anywhere else in Sanderson you are...
Read moreBudget Inn in Sanderson, TX, was pleasant surprise for us. Non-smoking room was extra clean, especially the carpet; room was unexpectedly spacy and wonderfully decorated. Big bathroom, tiles on the floor and walls. I enjoyed the hand wash sink was inside the bathroom, that meant separated from the room by the door (in other motels you should use the sink in front of your mate, never separated by the door or curtain, that is absolutely stupid and annoying. Bed was very convenient, bedding fresh and clean, pillows were of right size and density, that is important. In numerous more expensive motels we stopped previously we had not refrigerator, coffee maker, or microwave. Of course, the TV and WiFi were present also. All of these were provided, and for lower price. Danny, the Manager, gives any advice you need about the city, and he is really good person. I highly recommend Budget Inn In Sanderson for everybody, as I myself was absolutely happy...
Read moreDani, the manager of the Inn went way out his way to make our stay the best he could with the "small town" accommodations. The few restaurants that were in town were closed and he cooked a delicious soup and a creamed seasoned corn dish so that our group of 5 did not go hungry he also provided us with a "Welcome tray" for each room. He was great, after having driven Motorcycles from Ruidoso, NM. He made sure we had plenty of towels and if that wasn't enough the next morning he made us a Herb, Mint Chai Tea with milk to start off our day. I was hot and the weather was cold and windy. Thank you Dani. Our group rides every year and sometimes twice through Sanderson, TX we will be sure to stop in again. Simple Friendly Gestures of...
