Grandeur Farm Retreat — Hotel in Fort Valley

I stayed at this location through another site it was listed on. It is definitely better to book direct. The place is perfect and very homey. I have never stayed in a bed and breakfast and had a shared space before and it was really nice. There are other spots and the owner is currently developing a new area on the land for another room. Very hospitable host and the breakfast was amazing, we were given a menu at check in and it was my negligence for not ordering and placing it the night before so I thought we couldn’t have any breakfast, and she came down and messaged us checking in to see if we’d like breakfast. We like to try bed and breakfast from time to time for the variety. This was a good value. Rooms are in the basement- concrete walls and floor. Sally was an excellent host. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, home fries with turkey sausage, fruit, toast and banana bread -pretty tasty. Good internet. The beds were on the firm side and very comfortable. This was our 2nd stay. It's located in a rural part of GA, an easy drive to several large cities, but ideal for visiting a dear friend who retired to the area. Our 1st GPS misdirected us, so you'll need a 2nd or verify landmarks with the owner. Decor is eclectic, but the bed is comfortable.
