I've stayed in $40 rooms if all I need is a little sleep and a shower and Ive stayed in $200 a night rooms when on vacations and business trips. I did not and would not spend $150 a night when the amusement park closes at midnight. 7 hours of sleep and a shower and back to the park at 10 am $50 for 1 king a night is perfect for the occasion. I stayed here because it was the cheapest place with rooms available 1 hour from cedar point on July 4th weekend and all the cheap rooms close were booked. I read the reviews for this motel so I didn't want to reserve ahead and also because it said no refunds so I waited until I got to the motel to look at the room first and it was fine. I had to ask for towels because there were none in the room and I was given plenty of towel and rags with no questions asked and for 50 a night for a huge king bed me and my kids just shared it for two days to sleep 7 hours and head back to the Cedar Point. I Would come back. I stayed in a room in the front. It was very quiet at night. Eat dinner first and/or bring snacks and drinks if needed at night to this motel because no restaurants or gas stations close. Perfect if all you need is tv for a few hours and sleep before heading back out. Microwave and fringe was...

Read moreStayed here once at the start of a project that would have me coming into town twice a month for a while. Thought I'd give the cheap place in town a try and it was a mistake! The hotel is located across the street from railroad tracks and a large fertilizer factory. Check in went smoothly, which was the about the only positive to staying here. Arriving at my room I couldn't help but notice the room next to mine had pots, pans, empty beer cans, and misc. garbage strewn on the ground outside the door. The room was untolerably dirty. The towels had brown stains on them and I did not want to guess what it was. The TV was old and did not have HBO as advertised. I was really hoping to just get out of this place without any insect hitchikers. Also, don't count on breakfast at the diner in the front parking lot,...
