Beautiful area, nice trails. I came here in the perfect weather. Arrived on Thursday evening and they didn't have space in campground they were selling the overflow spaces. It's ok but it cost the same like a tent camp site $22. I think it should be a few bucks cheaper since you are just in a parking lot. The problem why I really gave 3 stars is the constant noise. If not a helicopter circling around for an hour then a small airplane is. For hours. Never really stops. People leave the cities to get some peace from the constant noise but here too, is the same. I understand that the campground have some noise. People are on vacation. Kids are running around. All fine. But when you go miles in the wild into the middle of a hiking trail and all you hear is the constant airplane noise that's annoying. Probably one person or two sitting in it, they are enjoying the views but the rest of us down here are not fond of the constant noise.

Wish I could give it 6 stars! Camped in mid October, it was perfection. Perfect tent camping, though most were in RVs. Sites are far enough apart that you can have some privacy and it's overall very quite. Clean bathrooms and showers. The camp site was raked out before our visit. And then the real star.... THE VIEWS!!!!

I wish their were six stars!! First the basics, fair price, nice level sites, clean bathrooms, nice showers and really sweet camp host. All good...but what a place. The views are spectacular. The multi-use trails were really cool and bountiful. But the coolest was the sunset!!

The place, the area, the campspots, the camphosts, the rangers are amazing. The reason for only 4 stars is the lack in the cellular reception. So close to Fountain Hills and Verdi River and almost no reception. Even our booster had to do a hard work. We've been at all the regional parks and some are way further out of everything and the reception was way better. Maybe it's because of the private plains are crusing over this place, which can sometimes...

This was a beautiful place, it seemed to have all the amenities for camping. We didn't camp we went to visit there desert theme park and the kids had a blast. The restrooms where clean, they had separate showers, individual camping areas, some had a table and a fire pit, had a sanitary station for your rv. Would have loved to try some trails but didn't get a chance too. There was a 7.00 fee for park entrance don't know if it's different on...
