The campsite is awesome, the view is wonderful especially during sunset and sunrise, no water, electricity or dump, but there are toilets, here you are not paying for those services but for the view and the intimate location (there is a very limited amount of spots which makes the experience more intimate and lovable) Around the camp you might see a big dog running around, his name is alpha he is super nice and loves to play (he likes to bring you rocks but make sure you give him some water if it’s hot) the owner was also super nice for having a general check on all the guests in the evening, having a chat with all of us.

This is how it is done. Thank you Jeremy Black for making our stay fantastic! Our burner died on our cooking source and Jeremy wheeled out his personal BBQ for us to use... saved our trip! He also arranged for our horseback riding guide to come pick us up at the campground and bring us back so that we didn't have to break camp to drive there. Jeremy's German Shephard "Alpha" kept my kids company playing for hours... Super friendly dog. The views were as spectacular as the customer service. Show your appreciation with tips. ;)

It's hot, very hot but... The campground is in tunnel perfect place. Surrounded by the beauty and splendor of monument valley masks this the perfect place to camp. Close to the 17 mile Monument Valley drive and a gas station right down the road. Ken, met us when we arrived, he was helpful and pleasant to talk to. Nighttime temps are perfect for camping with the windows open.

Don't book with a rented RV before you have seen access road! The access road is a sandy, non paved road with a slope at the entrance. With most rented RVs, you are not insured if you get stuck or have damages. Host was not helpful, no description of this on website, not reachable by phone after we have shared our concerns, no offer to meet us at slope, no response to our polite question about a refund. Jeep driver we asked said road was 'mostly" firm which was not good enough for us. Campground not know at the visitor center just across, no signboard at entrance of access road. I have never left a bad review for a campground before. Our RV is well below the max size the host currently describes on the website as suitable...

A good place, but the day we arrived (5 may), a huge sandstorm didn't allow us to place the tent as there were vinds of 50Mph, we cancelled the stay that evening as the weather became worst and it was impossible to stay there with a tent. Unfortunatelly the owner doesn't understand the possible variation in climate conditions and he didn't made us a refund, so double expense, the camping and a motel in Mexican Hat for the same night. It seems That they only care on the bucks they can take, from us. If I will go there other time, of course I will never book again...
