Great place to go cut down a Christmas tree in the winter time. My family goes every year the week after Thanksgiving or the second week of December to buy tree tags at Bear River Lodge before driving in to cut down a tree. We take our dog who also loves it! They also have snowmobiles for rent which we did one year when there was a lot of snow. Check the weather and take a 4 wheel or all wheel drive vehicle if possible. Also I suggest getting to the lodge early if you are planning to cut down a tree as they are limited on tags they can sell per day.

The BRL checked all the boxes. Great lodging, a Cafe with great burgers and ice cream, on site atv rentals, and direct access to the Wasatch national forest with unlimited recreation opportunities. One thing to be aware of though, the cabins are not all private. The one bedroom units are the lower levels and the two bedroom units are the upper levels. They are very nice though and met our needs quite well. The staff was both very nice and accommodating. We hope to return again sometime, perhaps to snowmobile next time.

Friendly and competent staff. Decent convenience store with most things a camping group might need, and a really cool grill. Hamburgers/ cheeseburgers were great, and the pizza is pretty darn good, as well. They also rent lots of ATV's and UTV's during the summer. Right next to the Uinta-Wasatch Nat'l Forest with lots of trails to ride. They have snowmobile rentals in the winter months. We'll be coming back for, as well.

My son, his two young boys and myself stayed in the Cabins two nights and rented a two machines. We had a wonderful experience. The cabins were very nice and well stocked. The staff very friendly from reservation to check out. Our 2nd night there was a water leak in our cabin. There were no other cabins available, however, the staff went the extra mile, called the owner and they allowed us to move to a large cabin/lodge for the night. In addition, they gave us a gift certificate for another night for our trouble. It was a much nicer cabin than we had, obviously set up for large professional groups. We will most assuredly vacation...

This was our second family reunion here and it was marvelous, as usual. The cabin was clean and spacious and held everyone without crowding. The pool and hot tubs are wonderful and the huge bathtubs are very relaxing. The kitchens are up-to-date and we had no trouble preparing meals for the crowd. There was plenty of room for playing games and the grandchildren enjoyed being able to watch a DVD. Last, but not least, the air conditioning was a blessed relief after a day of fishing, rock climbing, or hiking. I thoroughly recommend this as a perfect place for a...
