Note added after the absurd response from "the owner"... i'm a 100% Disabled Vietnam Vet, having fought for the Freedoms you currently enjoy. I guess that includes the freedom of speech which allows you to attempt to demean someone who gives you a bad review. I think your statement explains things sufficiently.

$310 per week? ..is way too much for this dump! The young lady at the front desk was more than nice. But when she told me the weekly rate, I almost left, but I had been boon-docking for about 5 weeks and needed a long, hot shower, and electric to power the A/C.

Had to change gears when the first space she assigned me had a tree overhanging and would have damaged my tall, toy-hauler. So she had me back into a space at the western side fence. Which BTW, was a catch-all for all sorts of litter. Litter which I observed later to be all over the "Resort".

A newly-remodeled bath house was a plus, but not so much if it's not cleaned! See the pics; after my first shower, I noticed that the floor was dirty.. so me, being me, I grabbed the broom and swept the nastiness into a corner next to the handicapped shower. Three days later, and then five days later.. the dirt was still there !!!

The "Resort" is mostly occupied by long-term residents, some who had several large dogs in a short, unsecure fence. The dogs would go a bit crazy when you took trash to the very Trashy, trash area! No a safe feeling.

In short, the "new" owners of this dump have no business calling it a "Resort"... just call it what it is, and charge appropriate prices ! ..and I'm sure that someone is going to make some kind of defensive remark, like they did on all the other...

This place is a total dump, here are the things I experienced during my stay: Bathrooms were not cleaned and the owner was doing construction outside of cleaning hours leaving the bathrooms closed most of the day. Trash cans were always full. Worst maintenance I have ever seen at any camp site. KOA website shows this as big rig friendly and long pull troughs, this is not the case. You will have to unhook and if you have large slides you will consume the whole site leaving no room to put out chairs. The owner is a total a$$ hole, at 2:00 pm I asked if we could use the bathrooms and he yelled at me in front of my kids that "@#$%%^&* KOA is going to shut me down if I don’t get this work done". My response was not very nice since he used bad words in front of my kids, needless to say the owner had to change his shorts after I was done with him :). The owner has a aggressive breed dog that he walks each night along with his goats, you will encounter both of these in your campsite and he does not clean up after his own animals. Trees are not cut back so you will get damage to your RV if you get a site where you have to park under one. I have been all over the US staying at KOA's and have experience some pretty bad ones but this one tops them all by a large margin. I can't believe that KOA allows there name to be on this place. I would not return to this nightmare campground if...

We found this former KOA campground and some of the reviews said it was an improvement from when it was a KOA , I guess they had goats at one time. Well I think they should have kept the goats! Weeds growing everywhere and just very under managed. The place was in the process of getting a major electric upgrade and when we arrived we had to be put into a different site, which was alright. The young man I had spoke with on the phone a few days before we arrived was courteous and said they honored Good Sams 10% discount. So now we are in our site the small handout they had for the park had lots of info and also said cable tv hookups. Well our site did not and the local channels, forget it! The place was filled with a lot of fulltime living rvers and when we went to do some laundry well that was another experience in itself! Clothes piled up on the table and clothes that were done in 2 dryers and no one in site picking up any clothes. we did manage to get our laundry done and the app for operating the machines was a plus. The place was also closed on Sunday and if it would have been open I would have asked for a price reduction of at least $25.00. Even with the GS discount it was $117.00 for 2 nights. I will not...

Stayed here one night on the way to Phoenix. Had a small dodge campervan, so didn't need a full sized site or hookup. The lovely lady on the phone asked if we just were looking for somewhere safe to park for the night. Stayed in the overflow carpark for $22.78 P/n. Looked like a lot of the trailers are long termers. Only had one encounter with one, and she was a ride old b***h. The place could use a bit of a tidy up, but this is a budget campground in the middle of nowhere. Showers and washing rooms were clean. Would stay again, because the staff were so friendly and helpful, just avoid associating with the residents.

Recently traveled here with my family. We stayed in a pop-up tent camper at a campsite with hookups. Our campsite had a nice concrete slab and a picnic table. When we didn't have a fire pit, staff brought over one for us. The amenities for this campground are awesome. There's a small playground right next to a fenced dog park. There's a swimming pool, hot tub, and game room. There is a laundry room, and the bathrooms are family and disability friendly. Seriously, the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen at a campground.
