This is one of the most special places we have ever stayed. First of all, Sally, the owner waited until we arrived on Friday to personally show us around the property, gave us water and chocolate covered strawberries which was very welcomed after our 190 mile off road drive through the back road of Mount Lemmon. She is the most elegant adorable lady we've ever met! Our room was perfect but of course all the rooms are perfect there since they only have three but they're appointed beautifully. Very quaint, very southwest style, colorful, comfortable king beds, jacuzzi tubs in each room with private outdoor patio and outdoor showers. Everything you could possibly need has been thought through with close attention to detail down to the shower gel, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner all from a famous place in Paris, France no less. We came back today from another off road adventure in Patagonia to find fresh baked oatmeal cookies in our room and a filled ice bucket along with a clean room since there is daily maid service. Oh, and each morning at 8:30AM a gourmet breakfast is lovingly served on the breathtaking veranda overlooking the mountains by Ester who has been working at the bnb for 18 years. And did i forget to mention Sally will happily be your concierge letting you know all the best places to go for dinner? Tonight we went to Vivace which was excellent. I come from a family that owned a gourmet restaurant for 30 years and got Holiday Awards year after year and I'm very picky, and this was the perfect recommendation for the evening. I can't say enough about our stay at Cactus Cove BnB! Thank you Sally & Ester for changing our whole Tucson experience! I forgot to mention that we've been to Tucson many times but never loved it here and Cactus Cove & Sally have totally changed our minds along with our new jeep we just bought 6 months ago. This will definitely be our go to place in Tucson every visit....
Read moreThe best places to stay embody the place you are. Staying with Sally at Cactus Cove exceeds this with flying colors and we couldn’t imagine a better place to experience Tucson. The B&B’s setting with views of the Catalina Mountains and its own desert gardens, teaming with life from hummingbirds to unique cacti, have been carefully planned and cared for, making you feel like you are staying in an oasis the desert. Furthermore, we looked forward to the chance to get to know Sally over a gourmet, warm breakfast, prepared by her and Esther, served the beautiful patio each morning. Her warmth, thoughtfulness, worldly conversation, and good humor was a highlight of the trip itself. With only 3 rooms and serious procedures in place, we had no concerns about COVID while here and were able to fully enjoy our getaway. Trust us that you won’t regret your stay and will look forward for a...
