We booked CampV for an event at the very last second when our first location canceled unexpectedly. Upon arrival we felt *blessed* that our plans fell through and we found CampV. My first thought upon arrival was, “What is this magical place?!” It had it all, tree lined camp sites, riverfront spots, a crystal clear swimming pond (not scummy and algae infested) with a dock to dive off, a canoe for our use, and a floating bar (DIY, no service included) and lounge bus with WiFi, although you won’t want to be on-line in this pristine environment. And that’s just the lower part! Across the 2 lane road is an upper area with gorgeous cottages, yurts, and camper hookup sites, all beautifully maintained. And further on are gorgeous Burning Man art installations that we were invited to enjoy. This space was truly inspiring! We met some of the owners, great people and so caring! I honestly could not wait to come back. I felt like I was in adult summer camp. And just 1.5 miles away is the little town of Naturita that has a general store for supplies and ice, a liquor store, natural food store, diner, and coffee shop. I’ve got half a mind to pack up spontaneously and drive to CampV knowing I con provision nearby. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I truly felt like I was in heaven and our group of 100 had the most wonderful weekend. I sincerely hope CampV becomes the permanent home of our yearly event!

Words don't do this place justice. A friend of mine and myself decided to take some time away on a whim. We had studio cabin #3 and it was amazing. The space is well decorated and very clean. There are plenty of towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner and a hairdryer available. The kitchen has all the utensils needed for the kitchen and grill and if you need something (we need a new lighter for the firepit) the Camp host is friendly and quick to respond. There is no cell service for the most part but the wifi is very good and never was interrupted (even though a wind storm one night!) There is a small town no more than 5 minutes drive at most. It does have a grocery store and while the shelf stable and freezer selection was impressive for the size of town, I would suggest buying meat and produce elsewhere and cold packing it in. There is small fridge in each cabin. The local coffee shop was great (closed Tuesdays) as was the local antique shop where we found many well priced treasures. We loved this place and I will be back again! PS thanks again for the stickers!

Our weekend getaway at CampV was much needed and an amazing place to get away. We stayed in a cabin… well-appointed is an understatement. Every detail was considered and I really loved the aesthetic, from the furniture to the sheepskins and camp mugs. The fire place was such a cozy touch for evenings and early mornings. We went into Naturita for DELICIOUS pizza one night, but otherwise brought all our food and supplies with us to be able to stay onsite and truly unwind. It was so fun to explore the property, taking photos and being inspired by the art installations. This is a high desert vibe, so bring chapstick, layers, a hat, and be prepared to recalibrate from the daily hustle to the stillness of this landscape. If you are adventurous, artsy, and need a unique getaway… CampV is highly recommended.

This is a fun small artsy campground. There are many types of existing structures to choose from, or you can bring your own tent or camper. We stayed in an air conditioned two bedroom cabin. We were there in July and it seemed to be their off season, probably because of the heat, so there weren't many people staying at the campground. Everyone seemed to know each other, but they were very friendly to us too. The cabin was amazing! It was clean, a well stocked kitchen including coffee (thank you!). It even had Alexa playing music when we arrived. The air conditioning worked very well and the bathroom fixtures were clean and worked well.|The sheets and towels were high quality. We loved the robes that were provided for the stay. |The campground has so much unique art spread out all over the property, our favorite was the electric dandelions and the chapel, but the doors were pretty cool too. And you have to find the buried school bus! We hiked down to the pond but the biting flies were a bit much so we didn't spend as much time there as we had expected. There's a large floating raft you can use on the pond as well as paddleboards. This is a fun unique place and I highly recommend checking it out--even if you don't like camping, this is so much more than a campground. |We did rent ATV's from a local place and spent several hours exploring the nearby trails and paradox valley. So glad we had a place to stay so close...
