After rave reviews by others, Cebolla Mesa was on my hit list. I was not disappointed.
I was able to get the best campsite at the far left of the trailhead, right at the edge of the cliff. Not only does that site have the best views, it's also the largest. As others have stated the campground doesn't accommodate large RVs. I saw two different Casita trailers during the week and they are perfect for this campground.
Overall, it doesn't appear that this campground gets a lot of campers. There were day hikers and fishermen every day but not many campers. The toilet was in need of maintenance and the road in is slow and rough when towing a trailer.

Read moreLovely free campsite. Clean pit toilet, tables, fire pits. Dirt road up is a little bumpy, a car may or may not make it. No problem in a high clearance or 4wd. We were the only ones up here for the night so really quite and secluded. Great sunset and sunrise views.
