Really great campsite. Stayed here with our tent on a Friday night and it was busy, mostly RVs, but there were plenty of spots still when we got there mid evening. Early October so the weather was colder but not bad if you are prepared. First off the best part is that it’s free! Next, very convenient and safe location (right up the road from Bryce Canyon visitors center), beautiful scenery, and the spots are enough distance away from each other. We found a great spot at the end off of the main dirt path after the pond, big enough for our puppy to run around and with a large fire pit. Plenty of wood, may have to wander off to find it though. The stars look amazing at night. Some reviews say no service, but there was good service where we were, which was higher up. One thing to consider is that there are coyotes in the distance and you can hear them howling several times in the night but as someone from Tucson we are pretty used to that, normal for out west. Speaking of animals, there are very friendly cows that wander around the fields. Saw one at sunrise when we were leaving shown...

Really great area if you pay attention to the road and your clearance. Saw 20 RVs amongst the sparce pine trees with beautiful open areas. You need to stick to the many already camped at sites. Could spell trouble with muddy roads with rain I believe. Your only 15/20 minutes away from Bryce Canyon town and it's free shuttle system I highly recommend. In town RVS can only park at a few select places before you reach the National Park check in gate. If your capable you must either hike the rim or better yet a short trail dropping into the canyon. Warning ⚠️ the hike out is work. My Rv is a 30 ft. Class C and Verizon coverage 2 to 3 bars. Ps, unless your staying put, no reason to travel all the way out to Tom's Best area. This spot was like 7 minutes from the main road on the right. Stayed again May 2025 and was just as nice. Since it was Memorial weekend, there were a few more campers, but still had a choice of 5 to 6 places in the first loop on the right. However, they? cut a deep ditch turning off the main dirt road. Looks like everyone managed it fine. Someone placed some...

beautiful area that has some stunning views. That’s about all I can say. I did a dispersed camping with a tent for 3 days here. I went to 3 different camp sites in hopes of finding an area that doesn’t have burned trees around me. My first night was around ashed trees, I felt like I was in a forest of hell. The other 2 days were a little better spots I was able to find but presence of burned is everywhere. Also I had about $250 with of groceries that I had to dump into garbage because no fire or cooking allowed. That’s what the locals told me. And there were sign everywhere as well. I tied to go hiking and it was very boring, burned tree after burned trees , after 6 miles of not getting anywhere I turned around packed my...

Great, free boondocking spot close to Bryce Canyon. We visited in December. We got here at nighttime so we were worried about that, but luckily the campsite was easy to find and we were pretty much the only ones here. We took the first spot we saw. The spots aren’t marked but you can tell because there are pull offs. Our spot didn’t have a fire ring but someone made a ring with rocks. The path was pretty smooth gravel except for one spot which looked like you needed high clearance, however the path around the campsite is a circle I believe so you don’t have to take that path if you don’t have the right vehicle. Our Promaster was fine. No bathrooms or amenities. Verizon cell service worked great. 10/10 stay.
