I have been at Edgington RV park for about a year! The park was built by a gentleman named John in the 1990’s! The area was an empty dirt horse field that he made into a beautiful RV park! He planted every tree himself, and made the pond that when sitting by gives you amazing views of the mountains! A couple months ago John sold the RV park to an amazing couple Brandi and Nate. The new owners have not only been amazing, but have helped to create a Beautiful community where you can allow and trust your children to play without the fear of something bad happening. ||||We started having community BBQs and dinners, and personally we have met some amazing people who have been here since we’ve been here but everyone used to stay to themselves. Everyone in the park is always invited to the BBQs for good cooking and amazing company. Since the new owners, we are more then just the RV park.||||The park has a shower house, mini library, some exercise equipment, washers and dryers, a fenced in pet area, swing set, a slide ,and a beautiful catch and release fishing pond.|||| I’m thankful to be able to be in this RV park and its community. Where I’m from we have trees and water and this RV park has made me feel closer to home than anywhere else in the area! I 100% recommend stopping even if it’s to stay a night or two on your way to your next...

Edgington RV park is a bargain. (No longer called Edgington Garden, just Edgington RV Park). It's an older property run by a gentleman who opened it over 30 years ago. If you're looking for a modern RV resort, this is not the place for you. If you're visiting Alamogordo NM, touring a couple of the local pistachio farms and vineyards/wineries and just need place with FHUs, this is a great choice. John, the original owner, will greet you with a history of how he started his campground in the mid-80s.  He's also a Army Veteran, who served as an Infantryman in Vietnam. They accept Passport America for as long as you choose to stay.  Besides being an older property, the only other downside is the noise from an occasional train, and from the highway traffic next to the RV park. But the other more expensive RV parks are also along the highway. Overall, I would definitely recommend Edgington RV park for a stay in Alamogordo, NM.  In today's world, sometimes good old fashioned customer service is a rare experience. ...

Edgington RV Resort is centrally located and convenient to all of the sites in Alamogordo (White Sands, Petroglyph National Park, The Shroud of Turin Museum, etc). It is reasonably priced and has very reasonable prices for washers/dryers and you can see White Sands National Park from the property. They also have an on-site pond and with ducks/geese which expect you to feed them when near by...LOL! The property has recently transferred to new owners/management, and they have plans to improve some of the park’s infrastructure (e.g. bathhouse, restrooms, WiFi, etc.). Nate and Brandi (the new owners) are incredibly kind and have a great deal of experience in the hospitality industry and are very focused on the customer experience. Nate and his family also own a hotel in Alamogordo, the Desert Aire Hotel, which is an incredible property. We look forward to staying here again and seeing their vision come to life! We wish them every well-deserved...

Spent one quick night at this RV resort. It appears to have a lot of residential/long term guests as there were a lot of people leaving (I assume for work) in their trucks very early in the AM. I was up early anyway and enjoyed walking the grounds at sunrise, much to the annoyance of the ducks in the pond. We arrived just after sundown the night before (not ideal when driving an RV.) The host saw us arrive and was so kind to show us to our pre-reserved site since we undoubtedly looked lost. We had full hook ups and no one directly on either side of us. Other than the wind and the nearby road noise, it was a quite evening and I slept well. We had a busy day planned (biking thru White Sands National Park, hiking near Cloudcroft Trestle, and ice cream & tour at PistachioLand) so we we left around 8am so we didn't spend much time here. I would certainly stay again if we were in the area.

We stayed here for 3 weeks with our 36' travel trailer and loved every moment. When we pulled in we couldn't help but notice the a beautiful fence painted by a local artist. Tom immediately greeted us and escorted us to our easy to park pull-thru site. We spent a lot of time by the pond with the gorgeous weeping willows and cherry blossoms. If you have kids they'll love being able to fish and collect chicken and duck eggs. There's only 1 bathroom/shower but almost always was accessible without a wait. Lastly, huge shout out to Brandi and Justin who helped us when we were in a pinch with our RV tires. We were really sad to leave and hope to be back to visit again someday. Overall, great value for full hookups and central location to many attractions!
