Golf review : An Absolute Disaster of a Golf Course I have no idea how this place is still in business. The grass conditions were beyond horrific—huge patches of grass completely missing, like they just gave up trying to maintain it. Gopher holes everywhere, so watch your step unless you want a twisted ankle. The tee boxes? Is that what those were? Uneven, lumpy, and basically just dirt. At certain points, the whole course looked completely abandoned. And for $65 after 12:30? Good lord. I wouldn’t pay $10 to play here. Spend your money literally anywhere else. I have literally played dozens of golf courses all over the valley from Apache Junction all the way to Sun City North, and I've never come across a golf course that looked as bad and played as bad as this one. It was an embarrassment to even bring anybody to it. Spend your money elsewhere. That's what Google reviews are for. To save you from wasting your time and money.

Golf Course review only. Played there last weekend and the course was average at best. Didn’t look like they overseeded. Fairways like the rough were very inconsistent...lots of areas in fairways with very patchy grass...rough could be anywhere from 2” to 6” and had many areas with dead grass trimmings over 2” deep on top of the rough. Don’t miss the fairway or you may never find your ball. Greens were good...probably best part of the course. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Defiantly the only place you want to stay if you are in the area. Really cool retro place, such great old Architecture. I work for an Architecture company and we had a job site in Case grande that would bring us to the Francisco hotel every couple months. Always looked forward to it! The grounds are awesome, the staff is friendly, the bar inside the hotel is awesome and the food! Get the Lemon caper pasta, the calamari and the brownie for dessert, trust me you will be happy!

Super disappointed in this hotel. Not only is it extremely outdated, I don't know how they can classify it as a resort. ||First, the rooms are so completely outdated and our room did not have A/C. It was mid 70's when we were there. They did have a portable A/C or fan in the room but when we would come in at noon or later it was super muggy and hot even with the portable A/C running all day. Made for a miserable sleep. Never stayed in a hotel room that was that hot or muggy.||House keeping came at 8:30am the first day and since we were still in the room we asked them to come back in an hour or two and they said ok. By 11:30 they still hadn't come and so we called the front desk to let them know they haven't shown up. Got back later in the afternoon and room was still not cleaned. Called front desk again only to find out that housekeeping leaves at 2pm so room could no longer be cleaned. ||During a shower on our 2nd day the water stopped working. Come to find out it was a water main break in the area. Weird because the toilet worked just fine but we couldn't turn on the shower or the sink. I took video because that has never happened during a stay. My son couldn't take a shower that day before his tournament. Housekeeping came and cleaned our room after there was no running water. I guess they just do a wipe down since there was no water.|| When he finished the tournament I went to front desk to let them know we would be leaving and staying at another hotel. They accommodated this but said they cannot offer anything else for the previous night/that day that we went without water. For $300 a night that seems a little unfair.||The quality of the hotel is so old and rundown and I will never stay there again. We ended up going 25 mins away to stay at the Harrah's Ak Chin and had a lovely room and stay.||The golf course itself is pretty run down too. Was just hoping for something nicer considering it said Resort. Don't get...

My friend and I really had an awful experience at this "resort". For starters, I called to let the front desk know that my friend and I were on a long road trip and were looking to stop somewhere that offered nice rooms, room service and a hot tub. I was assured that this place could accommodate what we were looking for. Upon arrival we discovered that the rooms were very dated and had NO AIR CONDITIONING on an 80 degree day and no screen to the balcony so we couldn't even take advantage of the cooler night air. Something that should have been mentioned when I called before booking. The tv was small and close to the floor with no modern options for watching movies or streaming platforms. The hot tub was not hot and filled with bees. Not to mention the entire area was covered in bird poo and in need of a pressure wash. When I asked if the hot tub could be heated and skimmed I was told an engineer would need to be reached as the hot tub doesn't always work properly. Something else that should have been mentioned when I first called to inquire about the hotel. The service staff in the restaurant were all great, but my to-go pasta was terrible. I ordered it with extra sauce on the side and it came with no sauce at all. When I walked back to have sauce added they covered it with charred green peppers which was just weird. As we left the hotel we called to request a luggage cart, but they do not assist guests who need carts upon arrival and therefore can't keep track of them and could not provide one. The worst part about it all was the price. We ended up spending well over $300 on the room plus food and drink and felt that it was a complete waste of money and wished that we had just gone to Phoenix to find what we were...

Legends restaurant has always been our favorite place for special occasions. Best prime rib etc. Usually go for Christmas brunch, but as we get older, can't eat that much. Last year we were told we could eat of the menu in the Legends restaurant of the menu. We made reservations and when we got there, we had to eat in the bar, and it was full! We were invited to join a tourist couple so, joined them. We couldn't get dessert, so we're told to go to the buffet. It was picked over, but filled our sweet tooth. This year was told no reservations were needed, first come first serve for Christmas dinner in the Legends restaurant. We got there about 1:30 pm thinking we would have to wait. We were told that they were closing Legends restaurant for the day, and seated us again in the bar. The menu they gave us was a bar menu - hamburgers, a couple of sandwiches, and snacks! They let us eat off the buffet, but it was awful!! And pricy - $110. For two people to have a salad, meat, dessert and a drink each is outrageous! The buffet consisted of A salad of pre chopped greens like you get at the grocery with some cherry tomatoes, a fruit salad-picked over- one vegetable ( squash in a tomato based sauce), some cheeses a carving station with some over done prime rib and ham that was ok. The desserts were a little better, a couple of kinds of pies, a chocolate fountain for the kids and a chocolate cake. Hate to see such a oasis in the desert go down hill so fast, but our favorite place is no longer. We will...
