First time at this property but I was pleasantly surprised! Love the location because it is quiet...for me, a perfect getaway from the city to do some writing in a beautifully inspiring setting. I love the charm of the older style mountain condos. These have been updated nicely, except for that the kitchen cabinets are older. I had these cabinets in the 90s and loved them though, so feels homey to me. The kitchen is fantastic with a Jennair convection oven with ceramic cook top and side by side stainless fridge/freezer, island, breakfast bar, and a ton of counter space. Wood floors are a plus too. Lots of windows and light to take in the surrounding views of Breckenridge's ski mountains. The 5 pc spacious bath was a surprise, these being older condos, and the oversized whirlpool tub is a bonus! Love the large private deck as well, and attached garage for my car. I know I will be back, and already wondering if I should have stayed longer. Free yoga class on Tuesday morning too! And if you are a Grand Timber owner, you can reserve day use for the pools and amenities there, as it's only a few miles away. Would have given 5 stars except for a couple little things. Kitchen not as clean as it could have been, and discovered I was missing Blu Ray player remote last night. Easily remedied items. Overall, I highly recommend the 1 bdrm master unit for up to 4 people at this resort. I love the contemporary design and feel of these units compared to the rustic feel of so many mtn properties. At the same time they are warm and inviting.

Came up here for a week with my family and stayed in a large, 3 bedroom penthouse. The staff is very personable and professional! The views are superb! We were here on clear days, and snowy days. Either way, there was always something to do and fun to be had. The unit was very comfortable, and included everything that we would need, besides food and toiletries. Every room as a humidifier in it, because at this altitude it can be very dry in the winter. That was a very thoughtful addendum. For $10, you can get unlimited movies, one at a time, from the clubhouse. They have a pool table, shuffleboard, and activities for kids. Downtown Breckenridge is about 10 minutes away. And you can see the lights of Breckenridge at night from all of the units. This location is at about 10,000 feet above sea level, so the clubhouse has an oxygen bar if you feel like you are getting winded. We didn't need it, but it's there if you do. Units include a garage, and garage door opener. For what is offered, the views available, the proximity to downtown Breckenridge, this place is a great value! As you may see from a few other reviews, this resort has been here for quite some time. They are in the process of updating the units. While it's not a luxury place to stay, it is still a very, very, very nice place to stay! There are ski lockers for the penthouses, and a hot tub in each building. Gas fireplaces, large dining tables, and covered decks facing the slopes. I hope we are able to come back and enjoy Gold Point Resort again!

This is a very good condo to stay in when you are in Breckenridge. The rooms were very clean, and had everything you would need including a humidifier, and fan which really helped us in this weather. The beds were a bit uncomfortable, so it was a little painful when we woke up, but it wasn't a big deal or anything. The downstairs was a bit congested and packed. But besides that it was very good. The service was also amazing. The office in front, if you needed anything like towels, or blankets, they would hand it to you on the spot and they were very sweet. The office has a pool table, and lots of board games for you to play with. They also had a hot tub, with a very pretty view. The location was so beautiful. You get a grey view of the snowy mountains, and the sunset and sunrise. It was very close to downtown, so you can take a stroll or ride your bike around. The only thing I didn't really like is that the checkout was 10 am, but I feel like that is very early, and it should be 11, or even 12. Overall, I am impressed with this condo, and when we come back to Colorado, we will definitely be staying here again, and I can't wait for our next trip! Thank you Gold Point Resort! 100/10.

The view is top notch and it’s pet friendly, but that’s the end of the good.

Booked a condo with a couch and ended up in a condo with 2 beds and no couch, meaning no place to sit and relax. If I was there to ski or fish with the guys, ok, no problem but there to relax with my wife, its a problem. We had no place to sit and relax!!! Couldn’t get that resolved at 3:15pm when I checked in because no one was there at the property to discuss it with as they had left for the day. Then I was told I had to show back up the next morning to complete my check in. So apparently your time is more valuable than mine. Got it! I’ve been visiting Summit County for close to 30yrs and understand the after hours check in, but the expectation that I come back on my time the next morning because you were lazy and left early is ridiculous.

Condo itself was no better than an overpriced hotel room and definitely not anything like the pics posted by the property. It was old and beds are way uncomfy. The walls and floors are paper thin so you WILL hear every conversation in each direction.

One of the amenities they boast about is laundry. Great because we wanted to do laundry but were told we couldn’t because we were in a smaller unit. So heads up! If it’s just you and your spouse, make sure you book a massive condo so you can enjoy some of the amenities, otherwise you’re out of luck.

I think it’s safe to say I won’t ever be back to this so...
