Almost, Everything wrong at this campground. Toilet was clean. Now for the bad stuff, BUGS! Ants Ants Ants! Nats everywhere! Campsite has a design issue, and being First come first served it always fills up by 10:00am at the latest. BUT Prius's with California plates, still speed down the road kicking up dust at midnight, dreaming of a campsite that's open, so they can sleep int their car for the night. Here is the design issue, now the dreamer has to turn around and speed thru the dusty road again, there is no thru road! this goes on all day & all night. Then when leaving and taking my time, the dreamers just pull into the site and start putting up their tent before I'm packed up! Totally inconsiderate of my space. I still smell like...
Read moreReally enjoyed this campground. It is quite close to Moab and has a view of the Colorado River. Keep in mind that a sign is posted saying only RV's 24 ft or less. It may be difficult to get a site but if you get there between 0700 and 1000, you may get one. The site is dirt and level with a picnic table and firepit. Some have shade and some have better views of the river. There are pit toilets and no showers or electric, sewer or water hook-ups. The campground is close to the bike path as well as Grandstaff Canyon hiking trail, which is beautiful. The bike path is paved but there is a section where you will have to ride on the hwy before getting back on. ...

The sites have no services save for a couple of pit toilets and garbage bins, but their location right on the Coloralado River where it carves its way through a magnificent red rock canyon makes a stay here unlike any other.
