High Camp Hut — Hotel in Four Corners States

This was our first time at High Camp Hut and we couldn't have been more impressed. Both the hut itself and the surrounding area are epic and we will definitely be back again in Winter but we also want to explore it in the summer. Cindy, the owner was great to chat with prior to us getting up there and the crew that took our gear up to the hut in the snow cat could not have been more friendly and helpful which was a wonderful way to start our trip. The hut far exceeded our expectations and it was very comfortable and well furnished. The beds are all memory foam mattresses which meant everyone had a great night sleep. The kitchen is very well stocked and has a great refrigerator, and stove and oven. There is every type of terrain and aspect around the hut making it super easy to find great locations to ski plus the folks who took our gear up gave us some great advice on where to ski based on the snow we had received during our stay. This is the second year in a row that we've come to enjoy High Camp Hut and it is consistently the highlight of our winter. Our group of friends cherish the time to spend quality time together while also getting to play like little kids! We love the option to have our gear hauled up to the hut so we can eat and drink well while keeping our travel into the hut light. Pete and Eric were amazing hut keepers. It's truly so special to stay in such a comfortable place so deep in the wilderness. When we ran low on drinking water, Pete was responsive and brought us more. We love hanging out on the decks, doing some extreme sledding and have had some pretty epic ski days too! This hut is so so special. It's truly a magical place...

Beautiful location, knowledgeable and friendly hosts, amazing memories made! The kitchen was stocked with all the tools and staples. Beds were comfortable. Pot belly stove was warm and fun. Table fit the whole group and we made lots of memories playing games and swapping stories around it. The sauna was so relaxing after a day in the backcountry. Outhouses were clean - can’t beat the views! Stars were awesome! Easy trek in and out. Can’t wait...
