My husband and I were passing through the Grand Canyon on a road trip and had the pleasure of staying here in the Juniper tent. We were warmly welcomed by the camp hosts who gave us a little tour of the property and helped us get to our tent. They were incredibly helpful in offering local tips and recommendations for amazing sunset/sunrise spots at the rim of the canyon. The Juniper tent was absolutely adorable! First off, it had a disco ball hanging in the middle of it which was a truly fun touch during our stay. The bed was SO cozy and came with a heated mattress pad which we did indulge in before dozing off. There was a water heater in the tent and we made coffee to-go to catch sunrise at the rim around 5:30 in the morning. The bathroom trailer was immaculate and super close by our tent. Read moreWe stayed here for one night while exploring the Grand Canyon and I wish we stayed longer. If you’re looking to stay somewhere where you can get the outdoor experience but not worry about packing camping gear- this is the place! The hosts have thought of everything you could need. After a day of hiking, the shower and comfy bed are a treat to come back to. It’s an easy drive from the rim area where there’s restaurants, grocery store and touristy areas. But I recommend packing a cooler and grilling here at the site to enjoy the whole experience. And don’t worry- it gets cold enough at night (even in July it drops to ~60F) to sleep comfortably and the mattress has a heating pad. It’s a great night under the stars. Can’t...
Read moreAbsolutely wonderful! A fantastic location, surrounded by nature. The tent is beautiful and super cozy. The best part was the heated blankets… I’ll never forget them 😁 The bathrooms are very clean and well-equipped (towels, body wash/shampoo, soap). We really appreciated the little mirror in the tent and the kettle for making tea.
We would have gladly stayed more nights, just to enjoy the place even more.
It takes about 10 minutes by car on a dirt road to get to the main street, but it’s more than worth it! It’s also very close to the Grand Canyon, so highly recommended.
Fabienne is a very welcoming person, and it’s clear she loves what she does. Thanks again for everything, and I hope we’ll have the chance...
