What a Gem! We made reservations about a week in advance for a Thursday night as we had scheduled at Friday morning trip up to the Glen Canyon Dam to kayak and camp overnight on the river . We arrived at our little loft cabin around 9:30 PM. It was a tiny bit difficult to find in the dark with no moon, but weāre greeted with someone pointing out our cabin quickly. we were blown away when entering the door. The Air conditioning was on and the home was much much bigger than we expected. The large full-size refrigerator freezer was exactly what we needed to prep for the next morning. We didnāt use the laundry room, but there was a nice sized laundry room and a much bigger than expected bathroom with a claw footed bathtub and a stall shower that was easily big enough to change in. A very comfortable bedroom on the first floor with a very comfortable bed. Upstairs, there was a loft with a queen bed, single bed, and a futon. The best part was the deck off of the loft looking at the vermilion cliffs. It was absolutely beautiful to walk out in the morning and see the cliffs with juice and morning coffee. The Living room was very very comfortable, The dining table was big enough for all of us āfiveā we could not have been happier. We met with one of the owners in the morning and had a very educational chat before packing up and leaving for our river trip. We will definitely be coming up to stay again soon.
I wish I had taken more photos of the house. I will definitely take a lot more and better photos when I go...

Have never expected it to be anything less than a really cool place to spend the evening while staying at the hotel. Our last time was in 2018 and while it was great to see Charly is still there, we were disappointed about the restaurant being gone. What used to boast 99 bottles of beer on the wall, now has 5 crappy ones. No chance for a peaceful drink outside cause some guy staying there now has lights set up and a grill going in front of his room. I don't necessarily agree with the service reviews as our only experience was a kid bartending his phone, with what seemed to be an answer of no to just about all of our questions...between air guitar riffs. I'm not saying he wasn't friendly, because he was. it was just the whole vibe of the place has changed. Feels like a locals hangout now. A hostel for people who have money and privacy issues. Don't know what the game plan is for the new owners, but personally I'd have mirrored what they are doing down the road a bit, cause staying here now means that to get a nice evening of drinks and a meal requires driving the 5 miles back here...wait,...
