This was a beautiful place, next to the river. Sadly, certain people feel like trying to ruin other peoples trips. I get this is a popular place, but the reservation costs alone are disturbing. Who am I paying this to? I'm trying to camp not stay at a 4 star hotel. Not only that but we were constantly being disturbed by a group of geologist "apparently" look for freaking rocks in our camp site. Albeit we camped off the beaten path away from the reservations they yanked our chain because they thought it was "theirs". No, you don't own the river as a backyard even when you camp at these "high-end" "exclusive" campgrounds. Seriously...

What a great campsite. I was a little worried when I first arrived, because there was a bit of a wind and there's not a lot of privacy for tent camping. However, the weather settled down and I had no neighbors for the two nights I was there. It was very quiet, and has magnificent views of the canyon walls during the sunrises and sunsets. The bathrooms were clean, although a little exposed, instead of a door you have a chain to block of the door while in use, but there's no ceiling so you get to look up at the sky while nature calls. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll for...

Great campground with a nice layout for those who don't want a lot of noise. The solo sites are on one side of the campground while the group sites are down closer to the river. Enough separation that the noise isn't too crazy. One group was having a party one night with a lot of music but at our site it wasn't overwhelming. The views were great and the site was flat and clean. I'd prefer the smaller campgrounds with fewer people but this is a great option when...

Great campsite! Just a short walk to the Colorado River, and far enough away from MOAB that we did not have any problems getting a site. We went on a Tuesday night and the only other campers were a large group using the group site. There is not any shade, firewood, or drinking water, so make sure you bring plenty of your own water and firewood. Bathrooms and campsite were very clean. For $20/night, it would be tough to find anything better!

One of the best camp sites I've been to. The sites were spread out and the toilets were close. A walk down to the Colorado and it's tributary is definitely worth it. A little far from Moab but it's much more low key than the places down stream right on the side of 128. We went after Jeep week April '21, got a spot at 2pm and there were several left at that time. 20 bucks is minor and if you like chill spots with EPIC veiws, get out there!
