Mountain Harmony Retreat — Hotel in Four Corners States

We took advantage of having a wonderful home cooked dinner which was brought right to our trailer by Beatta. We started the meal with a delicious salad and then started the main course when we were run inside by a fierce thunderstorm with lots of electrical fireworks that included marble size hail. It was quite a happening. The 5th Wheel trailer was several years old but appeared brand new to us. Everything operated perfectly and we had a really nice view from the picture window of a ridge inside El Malpais National Monument Park. the location of the B&B was so good, right in the middle of El Malpais and El Morrow National Monuments which we visited and hiked. We had a wonderful time at Mountain Harmony . The space is lovely - beautifully painted interior that melds European and New Mexico! Jeff and Beata were incredibly hospitable and welcoming, and the scenery was stunning. Beata kept us well fed with her delicious food - her breakfast parfait is to die for! Both hosts were knowledgeable about the surrounding area, and great communicators! Per their advice, we visited the El Morro National Monument - this site is not to be missed. We cannot wait to book a longer stay...

On a solo trip. Jeff and Beata are very nice hosts. The place has a rustic and farm kind of feel to it. The RV I stayed in was much better than sleeping in the back of my truck. Breakfast was homemade and vegetarian. Lasted for two meals. Etienne is a very friendly cat. However, the main reason for being there was for relaxation. Ended up with that, plus a wonderful view of the Mesa. Be sure to bring a spotting scope. Enjoyed exploring the area and over all I can easily recommend others...
