This place was absolutely beautiful and very well kept! The amenities offered were plenty and very nice! The staff were friendly and accommodating! There's lots to do and see around here and I loved how our cabin style room had a window and porch overlooking the lake! The bed was super comfy and cozy and the room was like a cozy cacoon! I loved it's rustic charm through and through. We were encouraged to pick raspberries where you check in at mountain lakes lodge. They also let us pick fresh herbs to cook with! Being a cook my self, I enjoyed that and the fact we had a gas stove! The fridge was old school and cute which added to the cozy feeling! It definitely was a refreshing time spent there! We will be coming back! Thank you so much to the wonderful people who run this great place for having us!

We stayed at North Shore Lodge and also got married there! We were the first wedding ever hosted there and it was everything we wanted. Beautiful lake and mountain views, nice lawn for chairs and the ceremony. Jason the lodge manager was beyond incredible for letting us get married here and accommodating. We stayed a few extra nights than most people, the rooms are cozy and rustic style which we love more mountain lodging. The two suite rooms are also very roomy that accommodate more people. Location is great right on the shoreline, 10min from Grand Lake, 20 min from Granby. There's also a marina right next to it that we went to the next day. Chairs around fireplaces we're also awesome to hang out at night. My wife and I will definitely stay here again! Bu

We had a wonderful time here. The Cabin suites are clean and have everything you need. The window looks right at Lake Grandby and has panoramic view of our beautiful Rocky Mountains. We loved sitting on the deck early morning enjoying our coffee and in the evening watching the sun set over the Rocky Mountains and Lake Grandby. You can fish and kayak right of the property, bring your own or ask for one to be provided. If you want breath taking views and quiet away from the masses, this spot can not be beat. Location, location, location. Close to historic Grand Lake. Jason made us feel like family, thank you. We will be back!

We hate to be the killjoy here, and imagine the owners were just having a bad day... But we paid $400 for two nights stay, and expected far far better at that price point. When we arrived the room was absolutely freezing, and turned on the oven to supplement heat, it was not working.

If you are coming in the colder months, take note... It takes forever for the cabin to heat, given there's only one small heater on a wall and a tiny auxiliary heater that looks like a fan.

We left a message that night and again called the following morning, and the owner was very defensive and offered to have us pay more to move us into another unit.

While the heat and the oven issue was resolved, the rest of the amenities and the "Lakeside Lodging" we're a big disappointment... Fine for $90 a night but not for $200 a night.

Due to the drought / global warming, the lake is about a half mile away from its usual location, as evidenced by the docks in the picture I uploaded... This property unfortunately can no longer be considered Lakeside/Lakeshore.

Their website states that the lake is 100 to 150 yd from its usual location, but you'd need to multiply that times 4 or 5 (1/2 mile + to Lakeshore on 10/17/21) to be a truthful statement. You could barely see the water from ground level and it was in the far distance from the upper balcony.

The shower and bathroom had white duct tape covering the plastic wall insert, and molding was missing in the flooring.

At $200 a night prices the overall condition of the interior cried out for an investment in updating and maintenance.

The bath towels look like they came from 1970 and were thin and worn. Strong suggestion to get some new thick fluffy towels when you're charging this much for a stay.

Furthermore, there are way way too many highly punitive rules, if you read the notebook which contained the old outdated Wi-Fi information.

With a 10:00 a.m. checkout be really careful to not be in there at 10:01 as you will be charged $30 for every 15 minutes.

Overall, with an expenditure of restoration money vs. lowering your nightly stay fee, and a refreshing of the owners' attitude, this could have been a wonderful stay, even though it now lacks the lakeside beauty that was advertised on the website... and...

Beautiful place because of the view but horrible management. We had a party of 28 people stay in almost all of their cabins. Asked for towels and never received them so we had to hang our wet clothes and towels out on the balcony. We got yelled at for that but no rules stated that wasn’t allowed. Then we got yelled at for not picking up trash but we were out there each morning making sure everything was picked up. There were a couple of times people from our party were told we had to wear our masks on the balcony because sometimes people forget, and we put them on like we were told and we didn’t have to be asked again. We were then told our whole party had 30 minutes to pack up and leave a day before we were supposed to. We asked if we’d get a refund and she said maybe, depending on how we left the rooms, but we were only given 30 minutes to pack up our whole party and leave. When asked why we had to leave, she stated that it was because of everything we did since we started our stay, even though she texted the day before saying all of our family was super sweet. They would not answer the door or telephone when people from our party went to go talk to them to ask why we had to leave. They called the police to ask us to leave, but they wouldn’t even answer the door for the police offer so the cop had to call her and then she talked to the cop over the phone. We left peacefully with no problems, but still not completely sure why we were asked to leave in the first place. Our whole party was Mexican if that gives you a clue as to what happened. Definitely do not...

Have you ever had a place that made you feel right at home?!?!? This place is my home away from home. I never want to stay anywhere else and when anyone asks I always recommend this place. It’s the perfect year around place to stay. In every season it has the best views!!!!I” The perfect winter spot to stay for snowmobiling and ice fishing. In the spring you get to enjoy to beauty of everything coming back to life. It’s such a relaxing time!!! In the summer, you can enjoy yard games, kayaking and paddle boards. At night the fire pit has plenty of space for friends and family to enjoy s’mores too!!! In the fall (my favorite time of year) you get to enjoy the leaves changing colors and some of the best fishing!!! There is no need to stay anywhere else and we visit multiple times within the year!!!! Last but not least….Lisa and Jerry are the best!!! They are always so helpful and accommodating when you ask for anything. In the 3 years I’ve been visiting I compare the service I receive from them against everyone else. The rooms are warm and inviting and I’m enjoying the updates they continue to work on!!!! Thank you for giving me a place where I’ve been lucky enough to have first time experiences of my own and with my favorite people, life changing moments that I wouldn’t trade for anything and the best views that I can’t...
