The site is exquisite. The photos attached show what it looks like waking up at 7am and opening up the tent from the most upper campsite. across the river, there's a path for the animals traveling along. some people have spotted moose. I spotted a couple deer while we were here. The camp hosts are absolutely phenomenal. They sell firewood there as well. You should prefer to buy from the site you stay at. It's about an hour from Denver, so super convenient, very beautiful, and easily accessible. The ground is all gravel rocks and dirt. Lots of different kinds of ants, but they're sparse at the sites. They tend to stay away from people. Overall, it's an amazing experience and we'll be back as often as possible :)

This is a very pretty campsite with great access to the river. The toilets were kept very clean and the camp host was a very sweet woman. Couple only downsides...we were at #4 and it was a little on the small side for our large tent but it was actually a really nice location. Also you have to walk all of your stuff up to the campsite so that’s fun. But besides that it’s a fun little campsite! It is off the road and there are loud cars sometimes. But it is wasn’t terrible.

Attendant on site. Restroom, grills and camping sites available. There is a parking fee. A daily parking fee is $7.00 an overnight parking fee i believe is $22.00. The highway above is not loud at all. Beautiful views.

Overall, this is a good place for a quick trip, especially for campers with little experience.

Convenient location near south Denver if you are looking for a quick camping trip. Based on this just expect other campers to be nearby. Most seemed to be looking to float the river or have a quick stop on the way to further camping spots. Camps are feet from a road and the Platte river. Daytime sees tubers/rafters and fly fisherman. Also the occasional motorcycle cruisers go by. There is a short fly fishing trail along the river. More experienced hikers can cross the road into the wilderness. Each site has a campfire ring and picnic table. Dumpster and toilets are also onsite. Those looking for firewood can cross the road and hike up a ways to get some twigs. Deckers is close by if...

Ok so I was just there Tuesday. Pros easy to get too. Lots of camp sites The river is so close, you can hear it at night while you sleep. The site manager is very nice. Cons For as many camp sites the are kinda close meaning I was at site 6and there was a huge group at site 8 unfortunately people are rude they had there dogs off the leash, there kids was everywhere including other people camp sites and at night like 12am they where yelling and laughing loudly like no one else was there totally D bags. All in all it's a great place and I would totally go back just pray you have great neighbors like camp site 5 thanks for the firewood bro...
