Easy to find. Relatively secluded yet close to towns. The owner was friendly and helpful. Heated floors, plus a small fireplace heater. Limited amenities include mini fridge, coffee maker, propane grill, available firepit (wood supplied) and hot tub (open year round), WiFi, television. Very clean and well maintained. Approaching the cabin area, you drive through local homes and assume it won't be very secluded, but the spot is actually beautiful and private. 3 available cabins (plus owner) so you may have some neighbors. River is immediately outside cabins, very close and wildlife not afraid to let themselves be seen. Restaurants/stores less than a mile away.

We had a great night staying at Riverside Meadows on our drive across the state. The cabin (Guest) was clean and comfortable. We had a grill and access to the hot tub as well, which is great for stargazing at night. The real star of this place is the view and ambiance. You're right on the banks of the Rio Grande and it's so quiet and peaceful. Make sure you give yourself time to just sit out by the river and take it all in. We wish we could have stayed longer, will definitely be back if we are in the area again, and have already recommended it to all our friends in CO.

This location is absolutely gorgeous! It makes you feel so cozy and has a calming at home vibe. Fritz, the owner, is super accommodating and friendly as well as their fam dog Codi <3 We stayed here to relax and take astrophotography images and I was not disappointed with the view and captures. Sand dunes to the east and butt up against the Rio Grande national park to the west and the river to the south. It's a perfect spot!

Do you want to know the most relaxing place to stay in South Fork, Colorado? Riverside Meadows is it! The owners, Paula and Fritz, are excellent hosts with your comfort and satisfaction front and center. We rented the Master cabin for 5 nights from August 25-30. They built the cabins themselves and they are the ultimate log cabins! Cozy and well prepped for your stay. They are friendly and helpful if you need assistance during your stay. Their lovely pup Cobi is delightful! The grounds are so beautiful with flower gardens and hummingbirds in summer. Of course there is the feature with the ultimate relaxation sound...the Rio Grande river! Sunsets on the river are stunning! We will definitely be...

What a fantastic place to stay in South Fork, CO. You are right on the Rio Grande River and the cabins are built extremely well - they are very cozy and the family who owns and operates the location are the most helpful, nice people you'll meet in Colorado. They offer several activities like rafting and kayaking and are experts on the area. Plus, and I hope they don't raise their prices from reading this last part of my review, the cost to stay here is insanely cheap. You will not find another comparable place in South Fork, period. That's not including the price. So to find a hidden gem like this for a price like that... Unbelievable! I'll be...
