Beautiful campground, cleanest pit toilets I've ever seen, a little windy, only 2 other people in the campground. No water available so you need to bring all the water you will need. The hike to Chiricahua Peak takes you through rolling hills, Aspen forests, and a bunch of wild raspberry bushes. The dirt road is less sketchy coming from the national monument side and I feel like I did need the clearance my 4runner offered for the side going to Portal. Highly recommend!...
