We stayed in the RV park. All sites are pull through. Each site can accommodate a large Class A as well as a toad. We had one small travel trailer and an extra vehicle. They let us stay together in one space for I think $10 extra for the other car.
On your way there, you will see roadside billboards that say โ$18 a nightโ for the RV park.
Check in and registration is at the main desk of the casino. If you mention that you saw the billboards when you check in/register they will give you the $18 rate. It may only be mid week. So make sure you read the signs.
We did not have reservations. But I think you can call ahead and make reservations. We just showed up and told them we saw the billboard price of $18 a night. Then we asked for a shower pass and we went and parked.
When you check in, donโt forget to ask them for a shower pass. That way you can get a free shower at the truckstop which is within walking distance of the RV park.
The RV park itself is very clean. It is very simple and is just gravel and very level. Each space had 30 amp and 50 amp and 110 electrical, water, and sewer. No ramadas. No picnic tables. No shade. It is just the clean pull through gravel space.
It was quiet and a security car continually circulated 24 hours a day/night through the RV park and the casino grounds.
There is a laundromat right next to the gas station store and showers. Everything was very convenient and very clean. The gas station store is large and has coffee and drinks, some clothing, some RV accessories, and some prepared food. The showers are located in the gas station store. The showers were exceptionally clean and large. There is also a sink and toilet in each shower location.
I highly recommend this location if you happen to be in the area. We stayed for three nights. I would definitely stay here again.
It is right near the 40 freeway with very easy access for you and your RV. Although you can hear the freeway traffic, it is not deafening at all. There is a nice restaurant in the casino that is worth a visit. There is a dollar store also right there on the grounds where you can get all sorts of goodies for about $1.25 each. And there is a gas station of course. So everything you need is right there.
My friend rented one room for one night and the room was typical of a two queen bed hotel room. The shower and bathroom was very clean and the room itself was typically clean as any hotel room. I think the rate was $69 a night plus tax. Pets are not allowed in the hotel rooms. There are veteran rates, so make sure you ask if there are other...
ย ย ย Read moreStayed here with my father recently and was not the best.
Checked in process - Front desk person was not welcoming at the time of check in. Had stayed here in the past and expected the same level of service but lacking. Had requested for a third floor room with two beds as in the past there were always some available. The front desk clerk informed us all 3rd floor rooms have only one bed so options were 1st or 2nd floor. She provided us our keys and did not tell us where our room was located or any hotel amenities. We had to hunt for our room only to find it clear across the hotel, mind you I am using a cane as well.
Room Review - Our room had no carpet that made the room echo with every step only having linoleum floors. Bed mattress was comfortable however the frame itself moved all night long, as it felt like it was missing a bolt. Every time you moved on it, it would hit the floor or felt like it was going to fall apart. The pillows were small and firm, better off stuffing a t shirt with clothes and sleeping with that.
There was no phone, and thinking from a safety standpoint, if there was an emergency who do you contact?
The room was limited with only one trash can in the bathroom. No shelves in the shower along with no vent making the whole room humid when you shower. Corner lamp light was out. Limited outlets available throughout the room for technology or charging items. No bottle water available, however there is a snack vending machine about 100 yards down the hall,
The noise from the hall was excessive, all night you will hear doors opening and closing. People talking excessively loud, making it hard to sleep.
Window view. The pool also looks like it need maintenance as it looks green in comparison to the hot tub. The walkway I would not walk underneath as that is a safety issue as well.
Overall - If you had a choice to stay here or drive the extra distance to either Albuquerque or Grants to get a good nights sleep, make the drive. The rate is excessive for what your get here. Customer service is lacking and unwelcoming. If you are a senior or have mobility issues this is not the...
ย ย ย Read moreNot staying at hotel but at RV park. Some of the people who worked the front desk at the hotel, which is where you do your R.V. Renting transactions, are rude and very short and just terrible people. If it wasn't for the restaurant which is pretty good I wouldn't even give a 1 for the hotel staff. You had to come to the hotel on the exact date that you had to renew your rent for your space. The last time I came in, I was a couple hours late, but I told them on the phone that it would be late. I got to the hotel desk at 1:30 pm and their the computer was down. I came back two or three hours later and the computer was still not working. I even tried using cash to maybe make it easier. It wasn't working that way either. So I left and said I would be back but forgot and went to my apartment in Grants. I got a phone call at 8:30 pm at night that I had to come back NOW and pay the bill. I told them I couldn't and that I would be in tomorrow morning To pay the 2 extra days I needed to get my RV moved out of their park. The nasty girl on the phone raised her voice and told me I had to come NOW. I told her I wasn't coming until tomorrow morning. She repeated that I had to come NOW and I told her I can't and I wouldnt come. By now that young unpleasant nasty girl raised her voice even more and was trying to drown me out while I was trying to explain why I couldn't come. She said she was gonna talk to her supervisor and did call me back and said that I could come tomorrow and pay for the extra 2 days. Honestly for a lousy 34 dollars, I was harassed on that phone call. I'll never go back there, ever. And if I were you and took my advice , I'd drive down the road and go to...
