I wanted to stay here for mine and my husbands wedding anniversary. I emailed Tabitha and asked which Casita's were available. She replied and said that the Storm Catcher Casita and one other casita was available for the dates I was interested in. I replied and let her know I was interested in the Storm Catcher and also asked if they negotiated rates. She then replied and said rates were not negotiable due to it being high season which is fine. However, she then told me that she booked the Storm Catcher Casita for 7 days to someone else even though we were actively discussing booking the casita. They obviously chose to give it to the person who they were going to make more money off of since I only wanted it for 2 days. It was absolutely rude and dishonest of her to tell me it was available and then turn around and rent it to someone else. They obviously only care about the money. We will never stay here and I will make sure everyone I know in Tucson doesn't stay...

We stayed in the desert sun which was a 2 BR house, quite roomy and extremely clean. Wish we had more time to spend there but it was very comfortable while we were there. It was super private and very quiet - just great! Two things to mention that would have made it perfection - First - There were two bathrooms on two opposite ends of the house. Unfortunately, only one was stocked with shampoo, soap, etc. We had to share and carry back and forth from one side to the other. 2nd - there was a lovely table set up out back and I tried 3 light switches, none of which worked. There were nice strands of little lights set up that would have provided a nice ambience but I could not seem to find how to get them on so we could enjoy sitting outdoors. Perhaps in the hot months it's not possible? No worries, it didn't take away from the loveliness of the place and first class accommodations! Wonderful...

We’ve stayed here twice and absolutely love it here! It’s a hidden gem in Tucson. Such a wonderful place to relax and get away from the busy city. I loved having our own little casita to stay in, I would sit out in the mornings and drink my coffee on the patio and would see all kinds of wildlife! We spent a lot of time at the spool with our son. The views and grounds are spectacular. The owner, Beth, is very nice and hospitable and Tabitha was helpful in getting anything we needed! Even though we now live in Tucson, I look forward to staying here again as a staycation. If you’re visiting Tucson, this is definitely the place you should stay!
