The Views RV Park deserves every single one if their five stars! This is a beautiful, very well maintained park. It is easy to see the pride the owners take in their park. Many of the sites have spectacular views and are huge. There is a covered pavillion that has two grills, picnic table, and gas fire pit that is open for anyone to use and would be awesome for a get-together. One set of showers/restrooms are private complete individual bathrooms with toilet, sink and shower that are modern and super clean. The other set by the laundry are more dorm style but the showers are private rooms and everything is so clean. They even rake the gravel on the sites between reservations and I believe most sites are full hookup. The inside sites are a bit close together, but are long pull thru areas, so you could set up in front or behind just as easily. There is no dog park, but plenty of places to walk your leashed dog. The roads are wide enough and curves gentle enough that they are easy to navigate even with large rigs. The owners were helpful and friendly and the other campers were nice. It was very quiet and peaceful, and has some nice trees and shade. They also have some really nice glamping tents that have decks with views...amazing! The area offers a million things to do and see. Cortez is a larger town and offered many chain stores (like Walmart and McDonalds) and a larger grocery store, and is about 15 minutes away. Delores is smaller, but has alot to offer in dining, breweries, and interesting shops. Gas and diesel were easy to find nearby. We enjoyed the area including the reservoir with boat ramp and park. I believe elevation was close to 7000 ft, so the views are breathtaking! Overall, this has been our favorite campground in 7 months of RVing full-time. We highly...

My wife and I stayed at the The Views for three months in 2017. After full time RVing for the last 3.5 years, this is the best private campground that we've been to - our site (#8) felt more like a state park site surrounded by nature.

The location is perfect for day trips: Moab (2 hr) National Canyonlands (1.5 hr), Mesa Verde (25 minutes), Lizardhead Wilderness (1+hr - excellent hiking!!), Telluride (1.5 hr), Durango (1 hr), McPhee Reservoir (right across the street).

It takes about 18 minutes to drive to shopping in Cortez. But it is a drive that feels more like 8 minutes with good roads, hardly any traffic and fantastic views in all directions.

One can hike the extensive campground property, and we often hiked the across the street at McPhee reservoir.

The Verizon signal was strong; we could stream movies and watch youtube without problems. The Views free wifi is better than most; it's weak when the campground is full, but it's very good a lot of the time. The bathrooms and laundry are clean, spacious and new.

Also the perfect place for birding from your sofa. Out of our window we saw: w. scrub jay, stellar jay, rufous hummingbird, white-breasted nuthatch, downy and Lewis woodpecker, evening grosbeaks, var. juncos, mountain chickadee...

The owners are kind and helpful. We enjoyed our time here so much. I highly recommend the park: great views, perfect location, and the...

This RV park has the privacy of dry-camping or boondocking with all the amenities. We stayed at this wonderful campground for three nights while exploring Mesa Verde NP and 4 corners. Matt is the owner and along with his wife, have created a beautiful oasis. Many spaces have views of the plateau below and all of the RV spaces are separated among the trees so that no one feels crowded in. The RV spaces are large, gravel and fairly level with full hook ups and with good internet connectivity. There are small grass spaces adjacent to the spots. The park has glamping options for those without an RV and there is a large community area with horse-shoe pit, fire pit and covered pavilion for large gatherings. The campground is near a state park reservoir and paddle boards are available for rent at the RV park. If you need ice, fuel or food, Dolores is a small quaint town about a 10 min drive away with a small market, liquor store and a good Mexican restaurant. Mesa Verde NP entrance is 50 min away , 4 corners monument is 55 minutes and Durango about an hour drive. Although The Views' is a little of the bit off the beaten path, you will be overly compensated with a fantastic...

We really enjoyed our stay at The Views. In fact, I’m sitting outside at the back of the RV now enjoying the view of Sleeping Ute Mountain with my coffee. If you are towing a long RV, double towing or in a motorcoach with tow vehicle, the pull-through sites are the longest I’ve ever seen. The sites are also spacious giving you plenty of room between neighbors. Again, we don’t find this kind of spaciousness very often as it seems most campground owners are trying pack people in. The pull-through sites are not perfectly level which isn’t a problem if you bring levelers or cribbing and was only a slight inconvenience in trying to find a level place to sit outside in our chairs (site 42). Bonus: It’s very, very, very quiet day and night (not because campers are old as a previous reviewer stated but because they’re courteous). There are several early Native American sites to visit in the area (Canyons of the Ancients National Monument). One hour from Four Corners. There are also long walking trails around the campground. It’s off the beaten path which for us was also a plus. Our only regret was that we just booked two days instead of a week. We highly recommend The Views!

Stayed for 4 nights last week at The Views in our 32' Class C motorhome. Very nicely maintained park, quiet, the sites are well spaced out, and the views are awesome. Verizon LTE coverage was quite good. There is a nice walking trail that started near our site and runs to the west of the park, also McPhee Reservoir is only a couple miles away. Owners Matt and Wendy are very helpful and friendly, in fact I needed a couple sheet metal screws to replace screws that were stripped in a sound bar mounted above the TV in our motorhome (it was literally hanging by a thread and about to fall off the millwork), and Matt was happy to dig into his bin of extra screws to find a couple that might work (and Matt they worked perfectly, thank you!). We are relatively new to RVing, but this is nicest privately owned park we have stayed at so far. We will definitely be back, only next time we will rent a car in Cortez so we can do some exploring of nearby places such as Mesa Verde, Dolores, Telluride, etc.
