Trail and Hitch is small town oasis! My wife and I spent an entire month here in one of their tiny homes during my PA school rotation. It is close to everything and has great views. The tiny homes are incredible and a fun change of pace compared to a normal hotel. They have everything you would need and more. Fire pits, yard games, a sauna, a giant family style tables, grills, and gorgeous landscape. The staff are incredible and want nothing more than for you to have a great stay. Mike is amazing and went above and beyond for us. We had a couple very minor issues and he made sure they were taking care of quickly and efficiently. He even sent me a link to CO road conditions when he knew I was heading back down to Denver. He truly cares for the people staying here. If you want to experience the small town charm of a fun mountain town, don't think twice and book here now!

Meeker is such a tiny town but this place made every bit of our stay worth it. First of all - the tiny houses are super clean and so cozy and stylish! Our house was very warm upon our arrival (it was 19 degrees outside so it was so lovely coming in to a warm home). The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking. The area around the location is absolutely beautiful and it’s very quiet all around. The lady who works there was very helpful giving us lovely tips on the wine and cheese store, as well as other fun things to do around the town. The place is also extremely pet friendly. My husband travels to Meeker a lot for work and we will definitely be staying will y’all again - it was his business trip but your tiny house made us feel like we were on a cute vacation!! I recommend this place to everyone!!!

This park has new, very friendly owner and new name. The maintenance man made our stay, super helpful and friendly. Super quiet, great location. They offer wifi, tables, fire pit/grill combo. They have electric, water, & sewer hook ups. No shade. They have restrooms, laundry, bath house, and a sauna. They were mostly occupied by long termers with a lot of open spots. They also have tiny homes for rent. The spot we stayed in was slightly un level. We are a 38 ft RV with 30 foot trailer and we stuck out at both ends of the pull through, about 5 feet.

We recently stopped here for one night without a plan. We just drove as far as we could and looked for a place to set up our tent. This seems to be fairly new campground. The bathrooms were huge and super clean, and there were several of them scattered throughout the campground. There is laundry on site and firewood is available for sale. I would recommend this campground to RV campers or people who would like to try one of the adorable tiny houses on site. I would totally come back to try out the barrel-shaped tiny house! BUTif you are tenting, a few pieces of advice: Make sure your tent is 12x12 or smaller. Ours is a six-person tent with a front "porch" attached and is much bigger than the sand pad designated for tents in this campground. There are six 12x12 pads. Seems plenty big for the average tent, but if yours is bigger, there are at least two tent sites that had flat areas of land near the sand pad where a tent could be staked up, BUT the ground is very hard and you will need heavy-duty tent stakes. Just plan ahead. AND, be sure to call ahead and ask the manager if the tent sites that are available have room for a larger tent behind or next to the pad. We were lucky when we stayed that all 6 tent sites were available so we just picked one that fit our tent! That may not always be the case as more people find out about this lovely campground. Also, I'm not sure if this is the case every night, but it was SUPER windy. It kept us awake. Maybe a storm front was coming in, I don't know, but our tent was flapping all night long. I would recommend an RV or tiny house if it's always that windy! (Ask the manager when you call to make a reservation). But again, bathrooms were super clean and the tiny houses would be an...

Place was not cleaned after 4th of July occupants. Checked in around 6:30 pm into White River Casita. Contacted host. She sent over on-site manager who was incredibly rude and abrupt. She acted like we were the ones who left the mess. The appliances had food smeared all over them. Not vacuumed. Outside table full of food. Bathroom wasn’t clean. Hair all over floor. Bathroom rug dirty. Shower clogged and gobs of hair in drain. Questionable if sheets were even changed. Hair in the bed and something smeared on top sheet. Gross!! I brought my own sheets and blankets and used them. This home also didn’t have air conditioner like pictured in the online photos. There was a small blower with broken louvers that pointed at the floor. This did not cool the tiny home. It was 95 degrees out and we were sweating our whole stay. We couldn’t even shower until midnight because it was way too hot in the place. Too hot to sleep, shower or cook. The home was also very grubby. Paint all chipped off going up to loft. Railings grubby, dirty, and sticky. Bedroom had a hole in the wall under the light switch. Blinds had thick dust and food spilled on them. We booked this because of all the great reviews. Our experience was far from what the reviews said or what the pictures portrayed. This was probably nice when it was new, but in 2 years, it’s become run-down and poorly taken care of in this unit. Host responded about not being cleaned when we checked in, but ignored messages after that. She even ignored messages from Airbnb. Very disappointed with our stay. Very disappointed with on-site host and how incredibly rude she was. One person’s bad attitude can be a trip spoiler. Shame on you for...

We rented a full hook up spot for our camper from a Thursday till a Sunday. We arrived late Thursday night. Went out on UTVs all day Friday. Came back and showered in the shower facilities and enjoyed the evening. Nice quiet area. Went back out on UTVs Saturday morning. There was no water when we left. When we stopped back around 2pm for a bathroom break, there was still no water (so no shower or toilet usage). We were told it would be back on in a couple hours. Two of us stayed back while the rest went out on trails again. Right before the office closed I went up and inquired as to the water situation (well past the 2 hour mark). I was told it should be back on within the next hour. By 9pm when the rest of the group returned (covered in mud as it had rained quite a bit) and there was still NO water! We couldn't use the bathrooms, showers or laundry facilities and we were direct hook up so we had no water in our camper either! There was 8 of us. No one on site to help. No emergency number to call. Tried to message them on Facebook but never received a response. And it was too late to try and pack up and go find somewhere else to spend the night. The next morning we woke up early to head home and we STILL had no water! We couldn't empty our black tanks as there was no water to rinse them. We had to drive over 16 hours home with our tanks full and covered in dried mud and dirt. They refunded us $20. Will definitely go back to the area to ride trails but will NOT be staying there again nor would I...
