Wellington Lake — Hotel in Four Corners States

At one time, this was my home away from home, now I have no idea what this place is about, is this a Jehovah Witnesses campground now? There were plenty of LDS pamphlets and just a weird feeling just entering the gate alone. Not sure what those farmers down stream that use the water for their crops were thinking. NOTE: This is private property and “rangers” will treat you as a trespasser. Stopped here to have dinner on our truck tailgate and were told we had to leave because we weren’t registered. We were prepared to pay the fee but were not aware that we needed an “appointment”. Unwelcoming and rude. Just put up no trespassing signs and be done with it Yours...
