This is our favorite campground on Mt Lemmon. It's easy to register online. There are five campsites, all for groups. One is accessible, one is for up to ninety people and the other four are for up to 45 or so. There are fire rings at each site, composting toilets, running water, a ramada, and electricity at the ramada. We go up yearly twice with a school group and a church group. We also go group fishing at Rose Canyon Lake, bring $10 to park at the lake, though. There are some nice trailheads for hiking at the campsite and there are camp docents that take out the garbage, restock the toilet paper and can help if you're having an issue.

Great campsite for medium sized groups. Sites have ramadas with AC outlets and full light fixtures with switch. Bear boxes and trash cans, water spigot with drain, and each site has it's own vault toilets (which were actually not stinky). Charcoal grills also if you want to grill. Sidewalks around site and great firepit with 6ft steel ring. Firewood for like $6 or $8 from hosts. Good flat pads for tents with fine gravel. Shaded by pines. A bit pricey per night but for a group it's good. Fun spot for a mountain bike crew or church trip. Thanks.

This is a fantastic group campground. The only drawback was having to hump your gear into the tent site. It you pick a site near parking, no big deal. Follow the rules of the bathrooms. Close the lid and close the door when you are done. Each group site has a ramada with tables, charcoal grill, running water and electricity. I didn't have much use for the electricity, I was camping lol. There are fantastic views and great hiking.

Honestly, this spot is a total gem! Perfect for camping with family, friends, or rolling in with a whole crew. It’s super clean, super pet-friendly (our pups had the time of their lives), and just has those good vibes all around. This is our second year doing our family camping trip here, and it’s officially tradition now—we’re hooked. The host? Absolute rockstar—so kind and always ready to help. You can hit the trails for a hike, or just lounge around and soak it all in. And the cherry on top? You’re like 10 minutes from Summerhaven, aka pure...
