Just stayed here last week. This campsite was great, especially if you have dogs. There is plenty of shade from trees early in the day, and then by about 4:30 the whole entire campground is shaded due to it being up against the tall rock. There isn't any running water, but if you bring your own in you'll be just fine. To get to the town area of Moab you only have to drive about 10 minutes. The trailhead for Corona Arch, Jeep Arch, and Poison Spider only take a few minutes to drive to. Across from the Corona Arch Trailhead is an entrance into the Colorado River which we took the dogs to so we all could cool off a bit. We got to the campground on a Wednesday afternoon and there were at least half of the campsites open. The traffic isn't really that bad at night, the dogs and us slept just fine. The toilet was honestly better than a lot of other campground toilets I have used.

Like the other reviews the mosquitos were sooo bad. We would have picked another site should we had known. (I didn’t read reviews lol) we were swarmed. We made dinner and had to eat it in the tent. I think they’re trying to keep them at bay because overnight a truck drove by and sprayed (were not positive but we believe this to be true). Gorgeous site though! Bathrooms were clean, not too busy. Quiet.

Can be busy depending on the time of the year, and absolutely no cell service, but it is really incredible and well worth a stop/visit if you're hiking/climbing/mountain biking and exploring in Moab. Easy access to all the things and only a few minutes from downtown.} Check the BLM website for current status. Check in with the CG caretaker when you arrive.

Two stars due the aggressive and relentless mosquitos. Stayed there two nights. The restrooms were clean and the view was gorgeous. But as soon as you get out of the car you've got 5-10 mosquitos biting you. My daughters & I were bit all over our legs, scalp, arms and backs. Even through our clothing. After we got home many more bites appeared that we were not even aware of while camping. We used a lot of insect repellent and stayed in the tent a lot but it hardly mattered... To be fair, maybe this is a seasonal thing, and at a different time of year the campsite might provide a better experience. I'm just sharing this because I wish I had known what we were getting into before we...

Great location for rock climbing at "Wall Street." (Literally just down the road, a one minute drive to get to 100+ routes. Camping here allowed us to wake up early and be the first climbers out there.) Friday night was packed, but Saturday morning plenty of sites opened up. Not great for light sleepers, this campground is right off the road. Loud 4-wheelers and trucks drove by occasionally throughout the night. Campsites have a picnic table, fire pit, and parking for 2 vehicles. There are dumpsters, outhouses and trees at most...
